Safe to say I was interested until I saw the price tag... Typical GW!

The same here €90 for a boardgame! Although I was going to buy it, the price is just too steep!

Meh. Bring it down to £50 and maybe we'll talk. Emphasis on maybe.

I like the weird skaven thing and the squid-like submarine thing though.

Guess they'll be on e-Bay in a couple of weeks.

Glad to see it wasn't just me. Nice to know there are people out there that think they way I do.

It's a crying shame, it does actually look quite good, but once again. The price.

Yeah - I'll pass on this one.  If I had £70 spare I would be buying some Gladiators for the rulebook I bought from Warhammer Historical recently.

Well, I went to GW this lunch time and if it wasn't the biggest wargaming non-event of the year.  Nothing to see and there were more piicies and info on the website..............  Lost interest now....

I bought it. I think that it's not even too expensive since you get good guality gaming mat, tons of cards, nice ships, islands etc. I think the 90e price is decent. I also have Man o war so if I don't like the game too much, I will try to use as much as possible from it in my MoW  games. TBH it would have been better to have full fleets from both sides and not a mixed fleet :/

I've just checked the web. $135.00 CDN :o :o
Hmm...10 ships+bases, 9 auxiliaries, 7 islands, 3 sea monsters, 5 ship wrecks + treasure tokens. 49 pieces of plastic, a rule book, gaming accessories and 138 cards.

Dreadfleet has the makings of an interesting game as numerous Warhammer races are represented. As it appears to be just a one off I think I'm out. That and the price.

Some comparable starter sets:
Space Hulk was around $100.00
Island of Blood & Assault on Black Reach are $118.75 CDN
Mines of Moria is $99.00 CDN
And these sets are chalk-full of miniatures...
Yearly painting challenges only show me how useless I am at painting...

For my money the uncharted sea stuff looks slightly better (maybe chaeper too?)

For a board game the maximum price I'm willing to pay is also around the £50 or €60 mark! Pitty as I really liked the look of the game  :(
