I really like "Open range" too but I feel it is awfully similar to Unforgiven, they even have Gene Hackman playing the bad guy in both movies 

I admit "The quick and the dead" (not mentioned by anyone yet) is something of a guilty pleasure of mine  Not the best movie, far from it, but still fun to watch the cowboy "tournament".

Quick and the dead is good, and actually has an amazing cast

Open range is Michael Gambon (I think) as the Irish guy. Not sure it is that like Unforgiven...
