Thanks again. I think the keep is going to be central to my adventures. I just can't decide whether its the good guys keep or the bad guys!

Are you going to give it a flag pole, Duncan?

I had considered it, a free standing wooden structure, so I could easily swop flags so yes they could fight over it.

"I claim this castle for Sir Bob!" The others reply "You can't claim it, we live here! Five hundred million of us!" "Do you have a flag …? "What? We don't need a flag, this is our home, you bastards" "No flag, No Country, You can't have one! Those are the rules... that I just made up!...and I'm backing it up with this gun, that was lent to me from the National Rifle Association."

Thanks again one and all. And I can't help attracting nutters, it seems to be curse I've lived with for a long time!

Well I've been painting away for the past few weeks and now have my Corsair Crew ready for Åcon. They'll never win any painting competition, but they're painted. They were quite crude sculpts, so I figured I could justify it a bit with that ;) and not mention they were a rush job.
Anyway here's Abdul Goldberg (of confused ancestry) captian of the البحر شيطان (Sea Demon) and his crew of theives, bandits, pirates and kidnappers. They'll double as both Barbary Corsairs and fantasy corsairs.

Now on to some more orcs. These orcs are some of the first minis I ever bought, roughly twenty years ago and are Marauder miniatures. They've been stripped down and repainted. They're ready to join the warband of the Mother Crone.

A few more Elves to join the defenders of the Long Wood (no dirty comments please, they don't think those sort of jokes are very funny). These old Grenadier minis (apart from the one on the right, who's Citadel) and were a joy to paint.

Lastly and leastly, we have some skeleton archers, again for the warband of the Mother Crone. These are some pretty old minis of my brothers that he's kindly given me, of the same vitage as the orcs. Not the greatest paintwork on these guys, I seemed to struggle a bit with them.

Brilliant Digit!

I think I spot Old GLory miniatures with those barbary pirates?

Thye could very well be Old Glory, but I bought them through Newline Designs, they might have bought the moulds from Old Glory.

Lovely additions, dijit.
Especially love the Sea Demon and crew!

A trip down memory lane there, I have not seen any Grenadier Elves for a long time.
