« on: 19 November 2007, 07:37:43 PM »
That's right... we're looking for people interested in playtesting Broadsword Adventures. How do you get in on the excitement? Easy, click on the link below and follow the instructions on our Speakeasy forum.

The qualifications are minimal so even people like Pete and Marc could get in.

I'd love to help, but due to not having a regular group (well, actually ANY group) at the moment, it'll be a pain.
I could proofread and try some solo, though...

Would love to help out if we can, but I'm not a member of the speakeasy to volunteer there yet.

I know I am terribly childish but that acronym makes you think of a rather different kind of game, perhaps something in the style of "The charge of the Light Brigade" or some other idiotic disaster.

Actually, Bull Shit Adventures would make a very good alternative title for the Baron Münchhausen tall story-telling RPG game.

I have this game, but have never played it. It isn't really the kind of thing any of my gaming pals would be into. They crave structure, rules, limits and boundaries. This game has almost none of these things.

We refer to it by the acronym BA . But BS Adventures sounds like the stories my playtesters spin.  :D

As for a release date, it will be available in early August. We're going to make a big splash at GenCon with it (or a little splash but it will be the biggest I have ever done). Along with the book will be 6-8 new miniature packs.

Also, be sure to check out this link:

If there are things you want to know about, I'm running a playtest game next week and promise to answer questions about the game afterward. But you have to post over at The Speakeasy so I remember them.
