I think the surprise revealed during the shootout at the end of "Quigley Down Under" is pretty great: won't ruin it for those who haven't seen it! ;)

"The Good, the Bad and the Ugly"'s finale is classic, but it's hard to beat "The Wild Bunch"'s carnage.

The final shootout in Open range (sometimes you miss even at close range plus the sound effects were great)

All the other ones mentioned are great, but I've got to agree with you guys about the final shootout in Open Range - superbly done.

I have to give my vote to Open Range as well.
One of the most realistic western movies I have ever seen.

Yea.  Open range.
Or the last gunfight in Rio Bravo.
Or the fist fight/mud hole scene in McClintock!

The end of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

I second that. It ended however your imagination wanted it to end.
