Opium den????
« on: 07 October 2011, 03:51:50 PM »
Does anyone make 25mm or 28mm figures specifically for an opium den?  I know that companies make figures that could be converted.  I was just wondering if any company made figures specifically for an opium den scene.  Thanks.  Richard

I know Mr Bob Murch has some Tong types that are quite good. One for sure is even sucking on his opium pipe...great figure.

Thanks Mike.  Pulp Figures was the first I thought of and, in fact, I emailed Bob as to whether he might consider producing an opium den pack.  To my pleasure, he said he'd been thinking about it for quite awhile but has so many other things on his plate that he didn't know when it would ever become reality.  So I posted my question in the hope that maybe there is something already out there that I just haven't heard about.  Thanks again.  Richard

I love atmospheric figs like that. Bob's plate is pretty full and seems to stay that way. I've been on him for years to do some pulpy themed villain sets like a Leopard Queen, Princess, Advisor, Bodyguard and Leopard Men among other things. I have received similar answers.

The Obelisk Miniature figures are great, and I hope Obelisk adds to the two packs of Chinese figures they already make (I'm happy to have both), but I was hoping that someone was actually making figures specifically for an opium den.  It just seems such a natural for Pulp.  Richard
