Just thought I'd give this a little bump. I completed this project a couple of months ago and made about a hundred tiles of different sizes, recreating almost every room from Left 4 Dead 1 and 2. The tiles are meant to be mounted on foamcore and are all in multiples of 3x3 inches but without a grid, although one could be added because most walls go along 1-inch-increments. The 3x3 inches footprint ensures compatibility with World Works Games stuff.

All tiles can of course also be used for any modern or near future game.

If anyone is interested, I will send you the package, but there's one catch: You have to add me on steam so I can verify you own a copy of Left 4 Dead 1 or 2, otherwise I'd be illegally distributing intellectual property (yee above).

So if you are interested, my steam account is "chernoskill"  :)

I have steam, but not left 4 dead, which is a pity, as these would be great for my zombie Play by Blog games.

I have L4D but do not have a steam account.  I don't play multiplayer at all and don't need the account.

I don't download games - I got my copy on disc, as the pixel-gods intended.

If this means I miss out on stuff, then so be it.  Steam blows down under, anyway.  Service is crap and slow as all-get out (even on my "high speed" (ADSL2+) broadband (outside of capital cities, it's as good as it gets).

I'd love to send you the package but please understand that I'm weary of copyright infringement so I just have to be sure  :-I

Maybe you can activate your boxed copy of L4D on steam, I know this is possible somehow.

It is possible, but thereupon lies the issue.

The aether separates my network connection from the box (L4D console version) - my console and my network connection are in different cities.  :D  I've not played it in a few years as a result.  Probably because I found it rather tedious (survival horror is like that for me).

I know you're just C-Y-A and that's fine as I have all of those shadowrun, Traveller (all of the Seeker gaming systems sets) and other floorplans anyway.

Would love to have these as they'd be useful for my early cyberpunk RPG I'm about to run. Unfortunately I don't have Steam and never will as I don't game on my PC anymore :(

Ah well, I totally understand.
So many projects..... so little time.......

Please understand that I can't just redistribute those files, I might get in trouble, after all the textures and models are not my property  :-I

Yes I noticed that ;)

Let's just say I adressed all other interested readers who don't have Steam and/or L4d ;)
