interesting stuff... looks like just variations of the same sprues in the different kits, so plenty of room for bashing stuff together....

I like the look of those castles...
I may have to try a set.

I have several sets. They are really closer to 1/72 truth be told. But I think there is still room for kitbashing something good from them. And yes, they are the same bits in the various sets, so they are all compatible.

I have several sets...

What are the figures like quality/paintability?  And do they all ship from Russia?  (P&P looks a bit steep to the UK.)

the figures that come with the castle stuff are not very good quality. Soft to almost no detail, especially on hair, fur and chainmail. Also, some sets have 28mm figures, other have 20mm. They also tend to break easily.

I can't comment on the figures that are sold separately and that are larger scale.

The ones I've bought on ebay came from russia without trouble.

I can second that: I bought some Robogear models from the same vendor: Russia-Belgium around 10 days, no customs involved.

Any chance of some comparison shots with some more well-known minis for scale?   ;)

I haven't assembled the castles, they are still on sprues until I have enough sets and enough time to start on the building I want to make, but I will try to post some pictures with the doorsizes and such to give an idea. I'll try to include some of their figures too.

I took some quick pics, which I fear don't show the extent of how soft some of the detail is.

28mm ones with a 28mm figure

22mm-ish gladiators from one of the set. Those are actually relatively good for the scale.

28mm figure next to the door entrance, as seen, it's a bit small, especially when your figures will be based

Some sprue pics to give an idea. Lots of small pieces. Textured on both sides:

Thank for that WK. Looks like some really useful conversion/scratching bits on those sprues.

Thanks for the pictures,

The green figures are from wich set ?

DO you know if the pirates set contains 22mm or 28mm figures ?

I thought it was an interesting buying to make a island fortifications or something like that, but if the figures are too small...OR maybe I can find 20mm /1/72 pirates ?

The castle is interesting-looking. Looks like it might work of you had a lot of "true" 25mm stuff from the early 1980s lying around (Grenadier, Ral Partha, Heritage Dungeon Dwellers, preslotta Citadel, etc.).

One also wonders if they're compatible with Zvezda figures and terrain pieces.

IIRC, they are 22mm but will check over the weekend.
