That's the one I wanted to show you.  ;) I found more useful paper models in a couple of companies that sell 1/400 kits. http://store.jsc.pl/?d=katalog&k_id=1

This book seems very useful for ICOG players. Have you read it?

Hi Kingscarbine

The Airship rules will be slated for a later date for translation, but the models you have posted would be very suitable for this as a paper model would be light enough to be used for a mission like this:

http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/581647/zeppelin-bitter-combat-over-the-north-sea-januar

And very soon the FE2b will be available as well allowing for a complete reproduction of this scenario.

The small boats looks suitable for making a seaplane station terrain board. We consider making one in order to connect our sea boards with our land boards.

Mirage Hobbys has a 1/400 V-106 German WW1 Turpedo Boat. The catalogue has the Polish (ex German) ORP "Mazur" and ORP "Kaszub" and a useful diorama with both. It will work as part of a seaplane station.

The harbour looks good and it should work fine in that scale.. As far as i can see the torpedo boat is around 2 centimeters too short as compared with a 350th scale model. The cranes and houses would look great as well. You would need to make the jettys in foam plates as the fligth stands cannot penetrate the styrene.

Another thing that should be converted is to make the ship hulls into waterline models.

:-[ Is that bad? It's almost impossibe to find one in 1/350. I suppose using 1/300 scale buildings is also verboten... Irregular Miniatures (http://www.irregularminiatures.co.uk/) has some useful stuff (Trains, Scenics & Accessories).

This range is 1/200 but nice to look at: http://www.rodlangton.com/ww1/ships.htm

Nein, das is ja erlaubt!(allowed!) I am not a scale purist and i think using 1/400 ships and buildings would be very fine. I gives a better sense of altitude if ground terrain is a bit underscale. I think that 1/300 would make it look as if the planes are flying too low. Remember that the ground scale in terms of movement and fire range is 1/700 using large ships would then give you problems as it would seem like the range is extremely short for the MG as the ship would be 1/350 scale and MG range would be 1/700.

We are making the papermodel torpedoboat (but in styrene sheets) you linked to, at some point but we will scale the pdf to 1/400 in order to make a model that would look fine in a harbour as well.

Airships in 1/400 would work fine as well i think (but again, i think i would make them in thin styrene sheets).

As for buildings i do not think there is a reason to buy expensive buildings. I suggest making simple models from clay or balsa wood blocks. They look great when looked at from a foot away.

Trucks, Artillery guns and tanks will be available from ColinWe on Shapeways within 2 months i guess.

The church on this pic is made from balsa wood, the buildings in the village are made from ordinary brown  modelling clay:
