I did these a looong time ago now...

As I mentioned earlier. I build models mainly. But recently found all these Battletech minis in a rather large box. Further looking on some DVD backups found some pics as well.

The Reaper Cav Dictator has really got me keen to paint up some more mechs, in between regular model building and painting fantasy figures for a new D&D campaign our son-in-law is running.

The plastech ones back in the day were pretty bad and were a soft plastic, similar to the old Esci, Airfix or Matchbox soldiers.

In the image below (sorry about quality as I took this about 10 years ago with my first digicam, a Kodak 2.1Mp beast), the plastech mechs are at the back. They are easy to spot at a glance as they had their type codes engraved on the base. The front row are the Ral Partha/Iron Wind metals releases of clan mechs, in this case a Clan Wolf Star. The Madcat, far right has been recast recently about 20% bigger as it is plainly too small for the heavy mech it is.

The following pic is a Nightsky and Bushwacker, First Federated Suns Armoured Cavalry.

Next up are a Mauler and Atlas from House Kurita, the Draconis Combine. The Atlas is a pretty squat rendition out of resin type material. A phase two plastech mech. Not sure what boxed set it came from.

Finally, a Bandai 1:200 model kit of the Marauder. One of the unseens, originally used under license from Robotech. My favourite Battlemech! This is a build from about 4 years ago. I thought it might be of interest. :)
