Pre-Heresy Thousand Son Assault Marine
« on: 26 November 2011, 02:45:25 PM »

It is that time of the year again. I painted a 40K mini!

Jump Pack by MAXMINI, Kopesh Sword by MicroArt(?), Marine by Forge World

I finally finished a pre-Heresy Thousand Son Assault Marine. Listening to Graham McNeill's books - Outcast dead at the moment - always do this to me...

cheers and keep on gaming, Agis - https://www.adpublishing.de

I am toying around with a rules variant of Victory Decision that is squad based, max number of 8-10 minis per side, maybe I will try some Heresy style skirmishes with this...

KROMLECH!! True, had just forgotten the name, it is amazing nowadays how many "back-market" companies are supplying accessories for GW models...

Share what you come up with Agis, that's a confrontation style skirmish game I'd like to try for small Heresy, brother against brother games.

Well it is heavily based on Victory Decision, only that you activate individual minis. The Suppression system is out.
Instead there is a roll to see how fatal an unsaved wound is.
Maybe this will lead to a dedicated squad level game. ;)

Yes please to the squad level system!  :D

this will force me to travel north and get in a game with your editor  ;)

Oh no... :(
Dan is together with Graham my favourite Black Library author, but Prospero burns was IMO his worst novel so far.

Yeah, not his best (still good tho'),Legion was much better(which I'm re-reading now). However my least favourite is the latest Tanith novel, very disapointing.
Your Astartes has got thinking about doing some pre-heresy Alpha Legion minis.....No! Another project.... ;D
