They have been released. I have quite a few. They are just not on the website. Often worth checking the US website for product codes and photos, it's usually updated more regularly than the Australian one.

OK, I have my Brits in Aden figures now from Eureka and they are excellent. I am collecting 28mm figs to use in Chain of Command Bush Wars by TFL and in the beta lists I see that the ZANLA CTs and the Rhodesian SFs have access to a 60 mm mortar but the only one I can find with a post WW2 crew is the Red Star one in their Dien Nien Phu range and the figures in that pack are in distinctly US style equipement including helmets. Does anyone know of a source for the 60mm mortar with either African insurgent or Rhodesian crew (preferably both)?

It is my intention to buy some TAG US Special Forces with shotguns and AK47s to use as some of the more LRRP style troops in the lists.

The mortar itself was likely a Chinese copy of the US 60mm mortar, itself a copy of the Brandt 60mm. Any WW2 US range that carries a 60mm mortar will do for the tube. Head swap for US marines would probably be the closest thing for crew. Maybe Warlord Games or Brigade games ranges of USMC?

Edit:- Checked Brigade, one of the sets that there are no pics of and the WG one has crew in all their gear including back packs. Bugger!

Under Fire miniatures has posted up some of their early 80' US army with M16's, two figs with 203's and one with an M-60. All in M1 steel helmets.
Said that they will be doing  mid/late 80's US in PASGT (Personnel Armor System for Ground Troops) soon.

Full Battle Rattle Miniatures are coming out with a 1/50th Canadian LAV-III,  which with a bit of work would do for the other Piranha variants.
