Anyway, here are some photos of the board set up at Salute. You chaps might have seen them over the Internet on various fora and blogs etc.

I was actually rather pleased with the way this turned out and my wife has even suggested making the town larger for next year

I might even re-vamp the castle I have and include it in the town... We'll just have to wait and see

The planning is from whatever information I've gleaned over the years and from several of the Japanese books that I have (I've even got a small one on town layouts for castle towns). It's one of those things that as you become immersed into a period or genre things start to stick in the mind and you don't have to research as much.

The town proportions have been reduced somewhat to get it on the table because the bloody thing would be over 20 foot long to get the same amount of information on the table
