Zulu Dawn of the Dead
« on: December 02, 2011, 04:31:07 PM »
Found this little gem of a pack while searching through the Black Tree Design catalogue during a recent sale...

Oh the possibilities!

If I had too much money and nothing better to do with my time, I’d totally buy piles of these – and some other zombie types and do some converting – and do a “what REALLY happened at Rorke’s Drift” scenario… (The Truth being so awful and outrageous that it was covered up and said to be a second group of Zulus that had broken off from the main army – not the RISEN DEAD FROM ISANDLWANA!!)

MWA-HA-HA-Ha-Ha-ha-ha-haaaaaa…..

Or I could use them in Rippers (Savage Worlds Victorian Horror game)

Or Space 1889 - the players get sent out to find out what happened to a lost patrol....

So, its one pack with 8 minis in 4 different poses?

And are they 28mm? (Black Tree; guess so)

I think the Wargames factory Zulu War Brits could be chopped up, heads and arms from their zombies used for conversions, etc., and made into more such shamblers?
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

No there's only four in a pack. I ordered four - two were back-ordered. Two I have painted.

Yes, 28mm.

Yes! I'm not fond of plastic stuff myself - but I do recognize that there's getting to be so much of it out there, and it's so easy to convert with, the possibilities are limitless!!

After I started basing my minis on washers, I really don't care if they are plastic or metal - biggest problem with plastics were the lack of weight, and easy over-toppling, I think.

There are so many great and cheap plastics available these days, not like in the 80's and 90's.

Me and my gamer buddy think you need a zulu witch doctor controlling the zombies he has raised and sent after the priest who stole(i mean converted) his tribes religion and got the witch doctor banished from the kraal(this of course comes from watching the 1963  zulu too many times, can that even happen?)so the attack on rorkes drift wasn't even about the red coats at the mission.carry on lads
