I had a wander around the local 99p shop at lunchtime today looking for the epoxy putty Silent Invader mentioned (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=13328.60) when I found these:

I picked up 2 T-Rex, 2 Triceratops & 1 Stegasaurus.  Cant go far wrong for 99p each.  :D
(They also do a Velociraptor, but its totally out of scale for 28mm miniatures)
Possibly something for the occupants of my not-Nautilus (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=13765.0) to discover.

Warhammer fortified mansion

Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the kit. There is lots of gorgeous, crisp detail everywhere. A lot of the more "extreme" decoration bits are optional and can be left off. So you can go for an all-out version or a more sober one (that's still going to be more fantasy/gothic than a more historical counterpart). There are also a number of alternative options for the decorative bits. The fencing and low walls are really useful and generic, only three skulls in the lot which can easily be removed if desired. I got this at a little less than retail price and with free shipping. With the different options, I think I might get a second set to build as a separate watchtower and chapel. The extra bits might also serve to dress up one of those plastic castle sets I have. ;)

Also got my scenery order from Total System Scenic. Unpainted and unassembled, they are dirt cheap. First impressions: detail on the windows is badly cast and overall the walls are cast a bit too tick (sometimes up to two mm) which means some work before they can be assembled. I hope the resin won't be too hard to work with. It's plastic(y) and not of the hard and brittle variety, so I'm hopefull.

I got the following from them:

Coaching inn:

Town house:

high house:

long low house:

Two level house:

short low house:

Oh my god!!!!

I have received my scenery order today and it's, well bloody amazing!!!

Kerry offered me an additional accessory pack to go with the order (£25 for £60 worth of stuff so I said yes).

Can't believe how much I've got, the box was 2 and a half foot square, totally filled with resin scenery.

Happy bunny!
