Thanks a lot for the very warm welcome, and for your encouraging comments. They are really valuable for me.

Drsicoles: Yes, obviously that painting was the mayor source of inspiration. I got stunned when I saw it and then started to work in the  whole idea.

Syrinx0: The idea was to include "the last eleven" + bobbie, so all of them couldn't fit. I usually work on  more  figures thatn the ones that will finally go into the piece. Then during the setting and placing of the figures some don't make it. I usually take lots of pictures and check which one looks better or interacts better in the scene. It's like a movie "casting".  The good thing is that white metal or plastic actors, that don't make it, don't complaint.

This is fantastic.  Reminds me of the articles from Airfix magazine where they recreated scenes from the Butler paintings of the Light Brigade using converted 1/32 Airfix figures.  Class!
