Fimir are back (in resin...)
« on: 22 December 2011, 05:48:33 PM »
Hi all,

Forgeworld have finally sent the remaining part of their 3 part preview in the latest newsletter. Here they are:

So, looks like they're bringing Fimir back. Wonder if they'll change the fluff to suit GW's target audience...

Odd, as Flip said, no tail, at least that we can see, and the feet don't match the artwork in the Magic book. That head is great though. I'll be interested to find out what it actually is.
So many projects..... so little time.......

Maybe it still has a tail (it really needs one), but maybe it can't be seen in this picture...you can't see the back of the model.

They are rather nice! Not too big and they retain a lot of the old school style.  8)

They look REALLY COOL. One of the wonderful things about Forge World minis, from my perspective, is they are nearly impossible to get &, even if available, are beyond my price range...as one who easily yields to temptation, this combo is greatly appreciated.

Ooohh,  :-* :-* :-*

Don't want to know the price though  :'(
Why aim for gold if you can get lead?

 :-* :-*

Have always loved the Fimirs and these certainly stayed true to the original design - but looks a bit "bigger", though. Guess these could be my first Warhammer Forge miniatures  ::)

Wouldn't be surprised if the price is similar to the other Ogre-sized minis - i.e. £43  :-I

That's about as much as if I got the classic figures, and these are nicer, so I'll be getting some for sure!  :)

Question is will they be brining out enough for a whole armies worth or are they just a 'special' troop type that will kill everything on the table until the next 'special' release  ::)

They dooooo look good though  ;D

cheers

They are very nice, but I must admit I was more impressed with the work of this particular Laffer:
