Check Rattrap's Broadsword Adventures.

Or you could try it with D&D, their fight mechanics are highly detailed.

Madness! There's no such thing!

Ganesha Games had a game with 1-2 miniatures per side, but all their projects take years to finish so we won't see it soon...

And what about man against woman...especially close combat rules  ;D

More seriously, do you really mean a single miniature vs a single miniature ?

If so I know a french ruleset.

I could translate it and send it to you. It's called 'les rois du ring" (kings of the boxing ring). Fast and funny.

I wish I were an octopus to paint more miniatures...Cthulhu must be a great painter

Was thinking about Broadswords too, Alex ;)

Woman against man could also work ;)

But to be specific, I'm after rules for a single mini vs a single mini.
I have " King of the Ring" already Eric, thanks for the offer.
There exists a english translation.
Nice fast rules :)

I also have "Flintloque- The Duel" and the "Mordheim-Gladiator rules", released in one of the Fanatic magazines.

But I'm looking for more :D

May be should you have a look at freewargamesrules.

I always thought the rules were "3 pm, behind the playground".  lol

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.
