Ghost army
« on: 11 February 2012, 01:36:46 PM »
A little something I trew together. Its lotr army of the dead, Warhammer tomb guardians and banshees from Reaper and Uncle Mike. Easy way to pain them and came out nice I think. I did customise 10 of the army of the dead as they were exacly the same with parts from the tomb guardians.

Very nice. What is the painting technique you use for these?

Did a black basecoat then a darkish grey over that. Drybrushed that with white then used a green wash, very simple but affective.

Seems the post was moved to fantasy but I have these as generic ghosts, for Lovecraft, modern horror and gothic etc.

I would have put it in fantasy too... ::)

Nice work, great subtle painting :)

Simple but effective, I really like the contrast between the bases and the figures.
