Foundry 25mm and 28mm

Hi, first post here so be gental. 

I come from a medieval gaming background (mostly Foundry figs) but then moved on to Warhammer Fantasy (still love both games). But now a few friends and I have decided to get into Old West skirmish gaming (so obviously we took out our Legends of the Old West books) because the market is ripe with awesome miniatures and premade buildings/terrain.

I have already ordered figs from Artizan because there were some real good gems there, but my love for most things Foundry has gotten me ready to mass order from that site.

My question is for those in the know, before I order from Foundry, which packs are 25mm and which are 28mm? I know the difference is not all that big, but I am unfortunately picky and would rather have 28mm.

Any help would be greatly appriated.

Using the categories on the Foundry site:

The Indians are all smaller, except for the Blackfoot, Delaware and (if they still exist) Cherokee.

US Cavalry are small, US Plains Infantry are larger.

The Mexicans are small, except for OW175–178

The cowboys are a mix – the zombies are smaller, as are OW091–95, 116

Townsfolk are all small, the Mountain Men are all large.

I picked up Shainghai Peirce's Cowhands and the Good, The Bad and Ugly sets to boost up my collection which is mostly Knuckleduster and they match up very nicely. I will try to post a picture tonight.

Just to add in re the Foundry stuff and simplify:

The smaller "25mm" were Mark Copplestone sculpts including all the original Cowboys, Townsmen and Plains Wars. Thereafter virtually everything "Old "West" was scilpted by Mike Owen: Scalphunters, Filibusters, Camerone, Mountain Men, Missouri/Kansas Raiders, Outlaws & Posse - they're more "28mm", but the difference isn't enough to prevent them being used together - not for me at least, and they're all pretty good to excellent.

In theory you could build up the base of the model to add some height to balance them out. Putting them on slate (rock) or perhaps some wood textured topper on the base (like walkways) or something similar to balance them out is always an option. Even a small mound or hill made out of green stuff could be used, then based around.

When it comes to armies, I'm right with you.  It really bothers me to see figures of all different heights lined up in rank and file (no matter how realistic the differences may be).

For genres like cowboys & pirates, however, I don't mind the variation in heights.  Probably because they don't usually line up.

I agree but I also remind myself that people are not the same size, some people are really short and some people are really tall....in one way we are wrong to perhaps stick to a single scale and hope they make enough variation to match typical human height.
