Griffin Miniatures Zombies
« on: February 29, 2012, 04:28:10 PM »
Hey Guys

Does anyone know if Griffin Miniatures are still open for business? I've been on their website and when i click on the store it takes me to a web store that only seems Blade Runner on DVD  :?

Thanks

Just a little FYI, I've Googled about a bit and it seems Griffins store has been down for a while, so i'm guessing they're no longer in business  :( If anyone knows any 3rd party sellers that stock their Zombies or have any spares they're looking to get rid of, I'd be very interested.

Sorry to say there mate I think you missed the boat by about four years there.

The zombies were sculpted by a guy called Dave, I was in contact with him at the time that the greens went underground, he confirmed they had been cast and he sent me around 7-8 of the master castings. Then Mark released the zombies in the collector's pack (survivors and zeds) about six months after that.

Some people got them, some people didn't due to previous dealings with him and Harbinger magazine.

I think that unless he's sold the moulds on, these and those really nice alien greys are going to stay MIA.

And no sorry I've none extra to sell, only a few duplicate survivors now and you couldn't afford what I'd want for them :D

Good luck, if any turn up be prepared to pay serious money. And the final thing, I was looking to commission Dave to do a set of zeds for me, but he's not replying to his emails and I think that trail is cold now too.

Cheers.

Thanks the info guys...It's sad that they're gone, they looked very interesting, but im no serious collector, just looking for some nice additions to the zombie horde i already have...I'll keep my eye out for them every now and then, but i don't think i'd pay through the roof for them, especially when Studio and Tengu make some nice but slightly more costly minis that really make a horde stand out  :)

I luckily got them.  They are excellent minis, too bad they are so harm to come by.
