British Armour and a wip King Tiger
« on: March 01, 2012, 05:19:24 PM »
Here's my latest output - 11 Div Armoured group, some more Daimler's and a King Tiger on the bench.

I am offering two lucky LAFers one of my Rolls Royce Armoured car at a knock down price - done to your spec - see the interwar board.

Yeah the King Tiger looks awesome, is it really scratch built? I can't think of any kit that I know that looks like that  would.

The King tiger is 1/60 - it is the Corgi one stripped of its original terrible paint job. I opened up the turret hatch and used my own white metal afv tools. I mastered these and had them cast. The spare tracks are one part of a two part link system I did for the T34/ Su-100. I have a lot of the old Corgi Su-100's and the tracks really let them down. I just cut off one side of the teeth and they look just like tiger track blocks.

I reuse a lot of original diecast models - not recasting though that would be pirating!

Heres shots of my SU-100 (before I did the tracks) and my track system

Happy to make anything to commission!
