It depends on your airbrush. What have you got?

For sharply demarked patterns then tamiya masking tape is best. I used blue tack on this one as it is semi - soft. For blury ones then free hand is best.

I just got a "Mini Air" compressor and a "Master Airbrush Model G22" top loading airbrush on a special combo from Amazon.com. What's next? Guess I'll have to experiment, haven't done this before.
