Yes, that's at least three companies now producing the same miniatures. Quite unusual in the wargames world. Presumably whoever bought or inherited the rights to the old Grenadier line is happy to take royalties from whoever is willing to pay them... Perhaps based on geographic 'territories' of manufacture... (Although certainly both the EM4 and Mirliton versions of the Fantasy figure lines were on sale at Salute last year, not very far from one another!)
The current Copplestone Future Wars line are not the same figures, although in many cases they are based on the same designs. Basically, when Mark went solo with Copplestone Castings, his first venture was to 'reimagine' most of the figures he did for the Grenadier near future range. Most (but not all), of his CC FW figures have some recognisable ancestor in the original Grenadier range. This does of course provide a huge range of broadly compatible figures, although the ex-Grenadier versions are somewhat more stylised and willowy... The CC FW line is a little stockier and more wargames-figure-like... For one thing, they're not on slottas.
