Your table would fit in many time periods,
in the Middle East, even a few hundreds of years apart.
Shows that things have not changed much in all these years.

Yes. I did play some fantasy and sci-fi on it, even a pirate game and it works very well.

First the bigger rocks are inserted in the foam and reinforced with plaster. Once dried, place a layer of PVA (thick). Glue all the little rocks first (use real rocks and broken pine wood) then you can simply put the sand.

That is a magnificent table! Inspiration filed away until I can get around to the Interwar Northwest Frontier stuff I want to do, as the architecture won't have changed much at all.

I like how the interconnected buildings merge with the hillside they're on, it really makes the whole thing even better, and it's the sort of idea that should be adaptable to modular non-table terrain, for those of us who don't have storage space for dedicated tables of terrain!
