How many of the Horror Clix miniatures are Cthulhu based? This will be a great mini once it's repainted.

A nice model, and certainly more impressive than the RAFM piece from the Antarctic Expedition blister pack - but unfortunately, I cannot take Shoggoths seriously any more...

Sorry....although a Cthulhu Fan Iam not impressed by this model. It looks like a Burger King Kids Menu give away.

that's the trouble with rubber plastic miniatures. The original sculpts may look very nice but the lose a lot when cast in that material.

I actually quite like it.  Every now and then Heroclix dod do some nice stuff.  I have got a couple of their "models" but have not got around to painting them...
They were all drawn to the Keep; the soldiers who brought death; the father and daughter fighting for life; the people who have always feared it; and the one man who knows its secret....

I think it is okay as a model, it just doesn't look quite how I imagine a Shoggoth to look.

I always pictured a shoggie as more wide than tall. Not a bad figure thou...at least it has enough eyes/mouths/anuses or whatever.

Ah now I totally agree with you there, but useable and, I think, quite an interesting thing to re-paint...

It's always struck me as odd that every shoggoth mini seems to have mouths, eyes, tentacles, and claws created all at the same time, like a Swiss Army knife with all of the attachments popped out.

Thanks to P_Clapham for the list. Now off to Ebay.

Well, I agree with Björn. Furthermore, it looks almost like a mixture of the older GW Chaosspawn and some other models. It shouldn't be that hard to come up with a piece of at least the same quality just rumaging through your bits box.

And that's coming from someone who's mortally afraid of doing anything in the way of sculpting or even converting miniatures.
