TLC? Dunno what you mean.....

Sorry about that: TLC=Tender Loving Care. It's considered a Nurse's forte...until now.

People here are asking me why I am blushing a bright scarlet.

I am honestly just pleased it was suitable.

It is more than suitable, it is great!
It will be usable for so many games if I make different 'toppers'....
I am tempted to put it at the top of the 'get it finished' list.
Thanks again!

I did know what you meant, Amigo, I was just playing innocent.

We should be getting a few games in tomorrow evening, so a chance for the Ministry boys to save their reputations.
 ;)

Excuse me -2 games 2 victories last time out for the Thames Valley Division!

Anyone who's been on the 185 from Lewisham to Victoria will know that London Transport DO employ the undead on their buses, alongside the customers! ;D

"And when you've finished vacuuming the Command Deck you can do the washing up, mister Chekov!"

"Aye, aye kiptin! *mumbles*mutters* and you know what you can do with it, too, you fat old man - all the crew talk about you behind your back..and that is clearly a wig....wish he'd go back to playing TJ Hooker*..."

Excuse me -2 games 2 victories last time out for the Thames Valley Division!

(that's cursed it ;) )

Now, now, dont get upset.
I was referring to the fact that, at that point, the last four games played ended in Lurker victories.
None of which you participated in, of course.
 ;)

Enough of games that took place a while ago, back to the present.
(Well, last night, anyway).

Four games took place during the evening.

First up was The Lockswin and his Irish Boys, who took on the Asylum Staff in the Escape into Danger scenario.
After a seriously hairy moment involving a Maniac, his favourite ( ;)) type of Lurker,
his boys managed to redeem themselves after their last outing, escaping off of the board with three of his lads and claiming victory.
The clever use of his Lucky Hat to modify the dice roll of the injected Zombie, making him into a Runner instead of a Construct certainly helped too!

His only Major Injury (on his newly-painted Agent, of course), resulted in a Full Recovery and two Map Pieces were in the bag.
Result!

Next up was Bullock, with his team from the Devon Division.
This was his first game with a new team, so it was a standard 15BP Fight scenario to break the ice.
He was up against a group of basic Cultists controlled by The Lockswin.
A fairly straightforward victory for the Ministry men from the South West, with the Captain and his service-issue sword proving decisive.
No major injuries were sustained, and the Devon Yeomanry were up and running!

Following on from that was smokezombie and his Character going off on a Trophy Hunt.
He was fully kitted-out with his trusty dynamite, Luck Kilt and Tight Sporran, but it proved to be to no avail, as the wandering Shambler that had been praying on the area took him out of action with a Major Injury!
Luckily for the stalwart leader he emerged Hardened from his Injury Roll, no longer affected by Fear and better off for the experience.

The final game again featured smokezombie, as the last one was so short (about 5 minutes!), this time with the entire well equipped team from Scotland (35BP!) also attempting to Escape into Danger.
It was a seriously hair raising experience for the team from north of the border, as the experienced Cultists tried their hardest to pin the Ministry team at the Docks.
It came down to one man standing on each side, with Big Al finishing off the final Cultist in vicious hand to hand combat.
So a victory for the Scottish Division, but at some cost as they lost another Agent and returned to base to re-equip again.

An entertaining evening with plenty of critical moments.

Looking forward to next week's games.

Off to paint something up....

Good stuff!

Thanks, styx!

We did not have much time to take any pictures last night, as we were trying to cram in as many games as we could.

There were a couple taken at the start of the evening, though.

The table set-up.

The rest were taken at the start of The Lockswin's game.

The Irish Division set up positions.

The Asylum Staff awaiting the approach of the Ministry team.

That's all folks.....

F&CK SAKES, MATE!!?!!

I'm always in awe of your scenery, and I have to ask...where do you get it all? Is it plasticard scratchbuilt or is it commercially available? I've got an order from Amazon of some 1/4x1/4x36 balsa and some plasticard coming to make some buildings from, and I've also got a line on some Plasticville buildings to defile build.

Any ideas?

I think the docks are actually sratch built out of blue foam and alot of time using a pen to etch out the cobble stones.

The water is simply a crumpled paper napkin!!

Mason is certainly good at this model making lark and the best thing about it is I get to play on it!!    ;)

Thanks, chaps!

The buildings on this board are a mixture of commercially available pieces and scratchbuilt items or a mixture of both.
Here are links to the sources or building processes:

The buildings marked with a Blue dot are, indeed, from PMC games, as are most of the scatter terrain pieces (boxes, crates and barrels).
They are great buildings, very competitively priced and are used here exactly as I received them.
The roofs do come off as well, so it is possible to place figures inside the buildings and even create an interior if you wish.
Highly recommended.

The building marked with the Green dot is a Hovels Livery Stable with a yard added and tarted up a bit.
http://www.hovelsltd.co.uk/wildwest.html

The Warehouse/Barn, as it is now known, with construction details, is here:
http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=30667.780

The building with the Yellow dot is the Undertaker's and is based on this item from Javis Models:
http://www.javis.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage_norm&product_id=3458&category_id=387&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=2

and the build process is described from here:
http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=30667.90

It is spread over several pages, but is a decent WIP (pages 7, 8, 10 and 12 if you want to skip the other stuff).

The Docks are mostly scratchbuilt, and are part of a larger Dockside layout.
The WIP of them is here:
http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=30667.30

Hope that helps.
Any more questions, just ask.
 :)
