What about one of those old seaside charabanc, would be quite fitting transport.

You are right, a bus would be appropriate given the following excerpt from 'Shadow Over Innsmouth';

“You could take that old bus, I suppose,” he said with a certain hesitation, “but it ain’t thought much of hereabouts. It goes through Innsmouth—you may have heard about that—and so the people don’t like it. Run by an Innsmouth fellow—Joe Sargent—but never gets any custom from here, or Arkham either, I guess. Wonder it keeps running at all. I s’pose it’s cheap enough, but I never see more’n two or three people in it—nobody but those Innsmouth folks. Leaves the Square—front of Hammond’s Drug Store—at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. unless they’ve changed lately. Looks like a terrible rattletrap—I’ve never ben on it.”

Given that my setting is Foulmouth in the county of Essex in the British Isles, this would work out just about right as transport for the bunch, I reckon....

And I do have a few seated hybrids that can be added for effect.
It will need a new driver, though....
 ;)

Good idea, that man!
 :D

When you posted this.....

What about one of those old seaside charabanc, would be quite fitting transport.

...it got the little grey cells working.
One thing led to another and next thing you know there is a workable idea.
Therefore: I thank you for planting the seed, as I do believe that Foulmouth 'needs' a bus to help set the scene.
 :D

That's ok ,I've never read the novels must get them to read.

In that case, I would recommend 'The Shadow over Innsmouth and Other Stories of Horror' as the tales in there are all pretty short and entertaining and will enable you to dip a toe in rather gently.

The following is a rather disturbing series of photos sent to us by our Essex County correspondant concerning the coastal town of Foulmouth:

The first in the series shows a rather eerie image, apparently showing strange creatures of the deep emerging from the depths onto the dockside of the rundown town...

The second is even more shocking!

Our reporter has described to us the emergence from within the town of mysterious robed 'Clergy' to greet them.......

It seems that once the 'Clergy' had made contact with the creatures they dispersed into the dilapidated town and begun to summon the 'citizens' to the dockside.

Here is a shot he took of the gathering crowd.....

We have lost contact with our reporter since this shot was sent in.
We are hoping that he calls again later....

My notification thingy is letting me down. You've posted some WONDERFUL photos of some BEAUTIFUL pieces while I was in the fog. You have me thinking of fantasy Fish Folk now. There is nothing like a new project to add zest to the old ones...not those Old Ones however. VERY WELL DONE as always!

Excellent Paolo. Those are great shots. Very atmospheric.

Thanks, chaps.
 :)

That looks great mate.

Cheers, mate.
I have managed to slap some brighter colours a few so that they will work as Amphibious Alien Civilians for Outland too.
They would also work pretty well as Deep Ones of a more 'tropical' nature.
Piccies later once basing is done.
 :D

Maybe I shall have to see if if some of them can swim across the Pond to you then.
I am sure they will fir into your wonderful world somehow.

Thank you, Riccardo.
I have manged to get my hands on a decent diecast for the bus.
At the second attempt.....the first was certainly NOT 1:50 scale!
I should be able to get that suitably weathered up today with a bit of luck.
Fingers crossed.
