I love the lunatics. They look great with your mad scientist.  :-*

The Minister sure is a snazzy dresser. He looks great. I don't think I've ever considered a purple/ yellow color scheme on a mini before.  :D

Thanks, D@rth J@ymZ!
I am glad that you do.

I could not resist those Maniacs, they were so well done.
I tend to shy away from anything too bright, but this fella just screamed out for it.
The last time I did a purple/yellow combo I was in my teens.
A long time ago!

Sir Tunly-Gay obviously likes getting dressed in the dark!

Having now broken my Strange Aeons duck I can confirm that the teddy-wielding loon is no pushover! She managed to take out my character, two agents and a civilian, as well as surviving six shots at close range from a Tommy gun. She'll be getting a wide birth in future - her and her teddy bear! Those flippin' button eyes hurt...

I am in the process of painting up my men and women from M.O.O.S(E). Expect Messrs Werther-Minte, Hunt and Enfield to appear on these pages soon, as well as Ms. Lingus and Rage.

Great work as per usual, Mason.  :-*

Oh, Yes!
We certainly know exactly how tough Maniacs are now, dont we?!?

Well, crack on then!
We want to see what you come up with.
 ;D

Well, now that The Boss has had his turn on the Catwalk, it is back to the next Agent completed-
The Big Game Hunter!

Armed with either a Bolt-action Rifle or his trusty Elephant Gun, he is ready for when the bigger nasties appear!

Hope you like him...

Very nice mini and the paint job is awesome. You have a really great team now. How many characters does it count at the moment?

Be mindful of the prayers you send
Pray hard but pray with care

Are just your answered prayers

I am being quite prolific at the moment, I am surprising myself.
I may be posting them at the rate of, approximately, one a day, but I am painting them in batches of five or so.

There are 18 finished members of the Ministry at the last count.
I will have to take a group shot again soon.
Only 15 or so to go......until I see others that I want to add, that is.

You are quite right, I need to keep the ball rolling. If I stop I may not get going again.  ::)

Oh, I have a Shambler, a ghost, a Fire Demon (elemental), Glom (Conglomorate), Bone Fiend (Ancient Spirit) and a few other goodies...I have to pick up some more round lipped bases which means either I have to make a long drive to the other side of Tampa or order some in the mail that are cheaper with some other stuff I am about to get...

That's somehow worrying - elephant-sized gribblies in need of putting down! After you with the big gun... :o

Righto, a bit of background on my team - in the process of being painted. I am not so much a technophobe as a technofailure! But I am sure I might be able to tempt Mason to chuck a few piccies up on my behalf when the team are painted if I offer him a sticky bun or two(something to feed those heffalumps ;)). Here are the boys and Girls of M.O.O.S.(E) as represented on my tabletop...

Aubrey Werther-Minte, Team leader (Character)
Aubrey was born in England in 1897 (he is 28). Aubrey’s grandfather, Otto Werther, came to Britain in the 1860s from Austria. He was an industrialist who created his own wealth. Aubrey’s father, Stefan Werther, ensured that his son got the very best education possible. Aubrey met his wife, Mari Minte, at Flanders whilst he was serving with the British army in WWI. Shortly afterwards the decorated war hero joined the War Ministry, and has found his way into the M.O.O.S(E) organisation. Being a useful and resourceful chap, he has quickly grown to command his own team of agents investigating the paranormal and extraterrestrial threat to His Majesty’s United Kingdom.

Isaac Hunt (Agent)
Agent Hunt’s story is a slightly sad one. A child of the colonies, he was born in Bombay in 1903 (he is 22). His parents, Saul and Eliza, were murdered when he was a little over ten years old. Officially theirs was thought to be an anti-Semitic murder, but the truth is Isaac’s father worked for British Intelligence and the deaths of he and his wife were almost certainly linked to his work. Isaac looked destined for a glittering career in Naval Intelligence, but his addiction to opium has marred any chance of his continued existence as an officer and a gentleman. Struggling with the death of his parents since a teen, Isaac has sought solace in the juice of the poppy, which he discovered in the various nefarious drug dens of the far east . He has recently fought his addiction, and been given a last chance at service operating as a M.O.O.S(E) agent. An intelligent, if troubled, young man, he is a natural crack shot with the pair of .45s he is never too far away from.

Henry Enfield (Agent)
Henry is a chirpy southerner, hailing from the leafy suburbs of Peckham. Born in 1882, he was just old enough to take part in the Boer War (he is now 43). A veteran of both that conflict and the trenches of WWI, Henry’s skill with a rifle earned him the role of sniper during the Great War. Serving in Captain Werther-Minte’s company, the team leader was quick to recruit him for his sharp-shooting skills when the M.O.O.S(E) team was formulated. His fondness for a certain alcoholic libation coupled with his skill with the rifle has earned him the nickname Martini Henry.

Regina Rash (Agent)
Regina hails from a very distinguished old English family with a long history of service to the Crown. Her father, Sir Daschiel Terwiliger Rash, served with distinction as a colonel in the lauded 3rd Foot and Mouth regiment, famous for their defence of the Khyber Pass in 1883. Although possibly disappointed not to have fathered boys, Sir Daschiel nonetheless dotes on his daughters, Regina (19) and her older sister Frances (23, also known as Fanny). He is very proud of the fact that both of his daughters are engaged in top secret work for the War Ministry (so he thinks). In fact, both girls are M.O.O.S(E) agents, and very capable field operatives. Regina is a very accomplished young woman, despite her tender years, and isn’t afraid to get in amongst the thick of the action when the bullets and blood are flying.

Connie Lingus (Agent)
Connie was born in County Cork in 1905 (she is 20 years old). Her father before her was a staunch supporter of the British Empire, despite hailing from the troubled south of the Emerald Isle. Due to his numerous connections to the British Government, Conner Lingus was able to secure a good career in the services for his daughter. She soon proved her worth as a very capable young lady, and was soon fast-tracked to join the ranks of the newly formed M.O.O.S(E). Of course, her father thinks she is a secretary in the War Ministry, having no inkling as to what his beloved wee girl actually does for a living. Despite her tender years, Connie is a resourceful and fiery field operative who partners her team mates well. When the chips are down and the lead is flying through the air, she’s not afraid to return fire herself – not only with a stream of shots but with a string of oaths which would no doubt make her parish priest back in Cork colour with embarrassment.

Philip McCavertay aka Stupendous, master of the mystic arts (Civilian)
The son of a seamstress from Edinburgh, and a docker from Glasgow, Philip McCavertay was born in the Gorbals area of Scotland’s second city in 1878 (he is 47 years old). Coming from a family of 13, Philip soon learned to make his own way in life, leaving the rough docklands of the Gorbals behind in his early 20’s. When war with Germany came in 1914 Philip was already working for the War Ministry, as a librarian and archivist. In that way he was able to avoid conscription, as his superiors thought well of him and were able to protect him from the horrors of the trenches. Alongside his talent as a controller of information, he has also forged for himself a reasonable sideline as a stage performer in the guise of Stupendous, master of the mystic arts (although some of his colleagues in the Ministry have cruelly dubbed him Stupid Ass). His talents as a magician are fairly lame alongside those skills he employs in his day job, but he does have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the occult. His reputation within MOD circles and the occult knowledge he possesses were enough for Aubrey Werther-Minte to recruit him to his burgeoning team. He’s also no slouch with a .22 pistol either, which is always handy in M.O.O.S(E)’s line of work, although he generally tries to stay out of the line of fire. “I’m a technical expert, no’ a bloody soldier!” is his oft-sounded lament!

Great bit of background there, Bert!
It all adds to the flavour and makes you care more for the members of your team.
Well thought out with plenty of humour!
