The Silver Skull
Dr Death

Good, very good!

Leprous Larry...

 lol
Not sure that I will use that for the Agent, but I will use it for something.
Oh, yes!
I certainly will be using it!

The Laughing Skull

Not that has got me thinking....

Having given it some serious consideration,I have opted to call him The Grinning Rictus.
I think that keeps him in character with the theme and period, whilst still making reference to his skull mask.

On another note: We played a game of SA today, the start of our campaign, and I took a few pictures during it, so I will post an AAR as soon as I have sorted through them.

Before that, though, I will post the latest Lurker to be added, a Blasphemous Construct.
It utilises a very different miniature to those that I have seen used so far.

Back later with that one...

Creepin' Death.

No, The Grinning Rictus is a very nice name. Nice model and PJ too.

Thanks, necrocannibal!
Creepin' Death has a nice assisin type ring to it, either that or the name of a particulatly nasty disease!

Back to the miniatures.
The next of the Lurkers that I have finished is my take on a Blasphemous Construct.
It is a nice, suitable large sized model from one of the 'Clix ranges, not sure which one.
He looks like a really big, lumbering zombie and I think his attire works well for the period.
(He will get the 'gore' treatment too, when I get the Tamiya Red).

The Blaspemous Construct

Here is a shot of him alongside the Minister to show how big he actually is.

Hope it meets your approval!

looks quite menacing the way he is right now...good job. TCR is great stuff, hope you get it soon...over here we have a hobby shop that carries the stuff, so I don't have to either travel or buy it online.

Looks like Solomon Grundy - and looks good.

IT LIVES...more or less! VERY COOL & CREEPY Creation; it's probably the knobby club, but he looks Irish to moi. I like the classic, basic black suit. VERY WELL DONE!
I'm working on West Winds Failed Experiments right now; this must be another "Great Minds" instance...or not.
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

I do need to get my hands on some soonish, although I could wait until I have finished all the zombies that I intend to do. I am going to convert a couple of excess miniatures that I have laying around for the reinforcements.

Thats the fella!

I have painted those WW figures and a joy they were.
I may have to consider another look through the range...

'Great Minds?'
Of course, or we would have to equally mad, and that simply cannot be true, can it, Amigo?!?

I too am glad that the chaps are well up for playing a campaign.
To be honest it did not take much, just one game each.
They were all quickly hooked!

And: Welcome back!
You have been away for a while and I, for one, have missed your regular updates.
Hope they will be back soon!
 :D

Edit: I see that you already are.
Welcome back to the fold.

Wow! Don't want to meet him in a dark street at night. I'm always surprised by the quality of the clix models with a good paint job like you did on this one. Very nice addition. I have to begin a lurker team soon!

The 'clix do paint up well if the original paint is not too thick, otherwise they may need stripping.
This one didnt though, I just painted over the original PJ.

Need to paint some Lurkers?
Of course you do, mate!
 :D

The last painted miniature that I have for the moment is this:

A Shambler.

Those of you that have seen the RAFM Shambler will know that, although it is a nice clean sculpt, I feel that it is a little too flat and does not have the details to match the description in Shocking Tales 1.
The description in the book suggests a 'mossy, decomposing hide.'
To represent this, I added some scenic material, underbrush, to the miniature, sealing and hardening it with superglue, before painting the miniature.
I think that it improves the figure and adds some detail.

Here it is alongside a 28mm miniature, showing its actual size.

(The Minister does love to pose for the camera!)

Back to the painting table to finish the next few miniatures for the Lurker collection.

Back soon with the AAR of the game played at the weekend....

Great work there! I was thinking of adding some stuff to my Shambler also to give him more of that organic look.

I already liked the something disturbing look of this miniature but with your additions it becomes definitely creepy. And I love that.
