Well, the campaign proper begins tomorrow, so I thought I would give you a brief outline and set the scene.
At the onset there will be four different Teams, all representing different regional divisions of M.O.O.S.(E).
Legionnaire Bert will be playing the Thames Valley District Chief, commanded by Aubrey Werther-Minte and are based in Oxford.
The Lockswin will be representing the Northern Irish Ministry of Occult, led by Captain Murphy, with their headquarters located in Belfast.
These two teams are the most experienced, having played three games each.
They have both shared the (mis)fortune of having been able to re-equip, having lost an Agent each early on, therefore their teams are a little larger and more tooled-up.
Gavla is in charge of the Southern Division led by Robert Gold, based in Portsmouth.
A recently formed team, having only played one game in which they were reasonably successful.
Mr B will be running the South-Western Yeomanry and will be operating out of Exeter.
They are led by Sir Henry Basketvale.
Another newly recruited force, having only played a single game. Although sucessful on their initial mission, they do carry a couple of injuries in the team.
Kitsune will joining the campaign later, (his daughter was born just a couple of weeks ago, so he is rather busy at the moment!) running the team from the South-Eastern Division led by Sir Admiral Cloudsley Shovell.
They will be based in Canterbury.
The intention is to try and play at least one game each per week, with the scenarios designated by the GM (Me) to try and build a narrative and keep the games flowing. The Map Pieces that they gain on the way will be utilised to provide information (i.e. to allocate Quest Scenarios that will fit into the story), as well as enabling them to recruit Special Agents in the normal way.
The games that they have played so far have been against the Cult of the Purple-Headed Worm, an insidious organisation that seems to have infiltrated British society and has spread its nefarious influence across the entire country.
In the last game that The Lockswin played, as he had gathered a decent tally of Map Pieces already (You should see his dice rolling, he should be known as The LUCKswin!), it was determined that he would play the Bag Man scenario.
This meant he had to get the information he had gathered in the previous game (Retrieve the Artifacts) back to his base, fighting his way through the awaiting Cultists who had set up an ambush, and inform Headquarters of his findings.

The Bag Man in question, chatting with their Civilian driver before they set out.

True to his new name (the LUCKswin), he was victorious, having dished out four critical hits with his first four attempts at shooting!
He also had the amazing fortune of seeing a crazed Suicide Cultist blow itself up the first time that the loony tried to move!

Needless to say, with luck like that, Murphy's Law had no real trouble in forcing their way past the Cultists.
In fact their Civilian was so busy during proceedings that he spent the entire game 'inspecting' the tree where he started!

The men from Northern Ireland had gotten through the blockade and the information had been passed on to Headquarters sucessfully.
The game was afoot!
