I'm really enjoying the Pulp elements you are including in this project.
The rocket trooper look great.  :-*

Yet more luvverly minis for the collection, Mason - really like the look and concept of those rocket Ronnies! I can see them working well as slightly tougher lurkers - were you thinking armour and such like?

Thanks, Bert!
Had not really considered armour, to be honest. I just thought that the extra mobility provided by the jet packs, combined with the firepower of a Tommy-gun, would be an interesting proposition for your teams....... ::) ::) ::)

Great work on the rocket guys!

They are rather well turned out, arent they?
 :D

I like all the new additions, but the Rocket Guys are UBERCOOL! VERY WELL DONE one & all!

A good definition!

Very much so, Enethaeron.
What, or indeed, Who?

There are quite a few more 'pulp' types to add, more of which to come this week.

I managed to finish three figures the other day, two of which had been causing me a fair bit of grief.
I finally got around to finishing them, I think that I had the painters equivalent of 'writer's block', a concept that I am pretty sure I am not alone in experiencing.
I thought that they were just going to have to be stripped and start again, but got there eventually.

I will get some pictures taken and posted tomorrow....

Sorry about that, einarolafson.
I had a few of the regular contributors to this board tell me something similar about the Cultists that I put on the Bazar at the same time.
I will notify you guys first in future, if I am going to sell anything else SA related.
 :D

Here is one of the miniatures that had given me so much grief recently.
It was so bad that at one point I thought that I was just going to have to strip it and start again.
It has not come out so bad in the end, and the picture is not the greatest either, and will have to be retaken in the next batch.  >:(

Half-dressed Cultist

I hope that it is not too bad...

That's awesome, did you mod the figure or is that how he comes?

No conversion, he is from Pulp Figures.
Pack  PWM 6 Evil Hooded Minion Master

The rest are waiting to be painted, just not sure yet if they will be in this Cult of Purple-robe-wearing loonies, or a new Cult entirely, considering that Von Unaussprechlichen Kulten is soon to be released.
It may be good to hold on to the rest of my Cultist figures for a second mob...

Cool mini.  :-*

I've seen him before, but never thought of him as half dressed.  lol

I guess he was running late to the sacrifice.  ;D

Don't worry too much about it. This is a very good mini, very well painted. In fact, I find it much more frightening than a completely dressed cultist because it suggests that a regular guy, dressed like anybody else, can be a fanatic devoted to the dark gods. So very good job here!

great work on the half-dressed cultist! And im enjoying the thread.
Im going to order that set also, the 2 guys in hoods are going to be henchmen hired by my cult, and the female (Miss X) is going to be a rogue agent with the cult.

My thoughts exactly.

This mini, and the guy in the suit from the same pack, has given me thoughts of green-stuffing some hoods on some other minis....

Suspicious kind of chap, aint ya?
 ;)

Time for the other miniature that was giving me grief.
This time I am more pleased with the end result.

I was going to use this chap as a Ministry Agent, but thought better of it as he has more than a passing resemblance to more than one famous villain.
He will therefore play several roles- Rogue Agent, Cult associate but chiefly as another of the mad doctors that work with my Mad Scientist.

The Fat Doctor

Hope that you like him.
He has a few friends, more works by the Mad Scientist, to join him soon...

My candidate for the original:

Back from the dead, almost.
