I love the Captain; for a fairly unadorned mini, he has a lot of personality...there's more to the mini than meets the eye. Both the mini selection & brushwork are VERY WELL DONE.
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

Thanks, DeafNala!
He is a lovely mini, redzed did a great job.
Now I only have to paint the rest of the crew.... ::)

Here is the next member of the African Division, again by redzed.

Mr Hugh Aytall-DePyes

A crack shot with his Double-barreled shotgun, just so long as he does not misplace his specs!

Hope you like him...

Thanks, Al!
I hope he does not perform like Mr Fudd!

Here is his hunting partner, Mr Migh-Opic.

I LOVE the two of them. They are individually very cool & well painted minis, but in combination they are TERRIFIC. VERY WELL DONE!
You need a third one. Let me 'splain. I have/had three erstwhile friends, Kerry, Gary, & Larry, who went hunting every Fall. The Unger Brothers, Kerry & Gary, had serious vision problems & Larry was reality impaired. The image of them armed to the teeth wandering the woods of Upstate New York was akin to the more violent scenes from Texas Chainsaw Massacre...pretty frightening scenario.

That does sound like a pretty frightening proposition!
It is for that very reason I am glad that hunting is not a possibility in the UK.
I know plenty of people who should never be allowed near a firearm!

The last of the new members of the African Division.
Reliable assistant to the good Proffesor, Ahmed Bin-Chuffin

Another masterpiece from the brush of majorsmith, rebased to fit in with the rest of the chaps.

Groupshot of the African Division to follow shortly, with the rest of the team that have been transferred from Blighty.

Hope you like him.
I certainly do!

That may be the coolest of the African Division Crew...which says a lot for the paint job. I agree with redzed; the face is very expressive. FINE WORK!

The Maltese Falcon - now there's a film! I can see you are a man of nice judgement, Mr DeafNala...

Thanks, Bert...I do the illusion with mirrors. The Maltese Falcon & old classics like it were the general run of movies on television when I was a boy; ergo, I'm much more familiar with the 30s & 40s than anything more recent.
Did you know Messrs Greenstreet & Lorre did nine films together? Casablanca is probably my favorite.
