Is that a REALLY long cricket jumper he's wearing? :)

Like both the zombs, mate, good effort.

 lol
It does a bit, doesn't it?
Cheers, mate!

lol

You would laugh!

The question is are you going to have a figure of a similar likeness to your goodself?

I have never thought of that.
Not sure if there are any, although I dare say that there may be a few suggestions from those that know me... ::)

And people wonder why I avoid Doctors...VERY COOL & appropriately disgusting mini. VERY WELL DONE!

 lol

Only 95 more to go.

Dont say that!
You do not know how close that is to the truth..... ::)

The last of the current batch of Zombies has been finished: Dead Man Walking!

Another Horrorclix repaint and rebase.
He still has what appears to be the backrest of an electric chair hanging from the copper cup on his head.
A nice touch, I think.

Having finished these three, I think I will have to dig the other 'clix Zombies out of the bits box and see if they can be converted in any way to make them suitable for the era.
Even for parts alone, it should be worth the effort...

On the painting table at the moment is my take on a Spider of Leng proxy, just have to base it up.

Will post it when it is done...

The attached remains of the Electric Chair are a cool touch. VERY NICELY DONE repaint...the unhealthy skin coloration looks TERRIFIC.

Check out ebay, you can sometimes find them cheap, or pop an add on the Bazar...

Here she is, the big beastie: The Spider of Leng

She should scare the living daylights out of any Ministry Agents!

A very simple job of applying a several washes over the original paintjob.
I did not want to do any really serious kind of painting as the the legs are pretty bendy due to the nature of the soft plastic. It would probably have been a waste of time as the paint would most likely chip. Washes should be fine.
Fingers crossed....

Hope you like her...

She's beautiful :-*. In a completely-horrible-sanity-defying-the-beast-must-die-bring-forth-the-30 cal.MG-and-dynamite kinda way of course!

 :D

Good job, mate - I saw the original beforehand and you've transformed it into a thing of wonder, well done!

I look forward to seeing it on the table. Sorta...

 o_o

What's that you say Mason - Monster Attack? Gav's agents? Oh no...

VERY COOL mini...she looks like something out of a really bad dream; the brushwork enhances the girl's horrific nature. VERY WELL DONE!
It's probably just moi, but she looks more like Tick Girl than Spider Lady.

That would be just naughty!
Wouldnt it?

You may be right, but she does have eight legs, so technically a spider.
That is the logic I am sticking to anyway...

A shot with the Minister for the sake of showing just how large she really is.

He did object, but that was probably because she clashes with his trousers!

She is quite a big girl, isnt she?

It certainly does have multiple uses.

That is another one of the great things about collecting stuff for Strange Aeons: Most of my collection will see use in other games, Pulp type games being the most obvious choice.

The rules are great too, and will see a lot of use outside of Eldritch Horror.
Legionnaire Bert has already composed his rulebook for SA:Inquisitor and is in the process of playtesting at the moment. It promises to do everything so much better than the original Inquisitor rules, which were a bit of a chore, to be honest.

I have plans for SA: Star Wars, but can see myself using the Strange Aeons rules for pretty much all future skirmish gaming, regardless of genre.
In fact, the first variant that I do will probably be for some VSF Skirmish- SA by Gaslight...

A while ago obsidian3d asked how many miniatures were in the collection.

Well, now that the Spider of Leng has been added, it stands at exactly 100!.
(Considering that I originally thought that I would put together about 30-40 figures and that would be enough, I guess that you could say that I have really caught the bug! ::))

Thinking that this was a significant landmark, I thought a photo of them would be appropriate.
So, here they are in their cabinet:

All the Ministry Agents are on the bottom three shelves, with the Lurkers taking up the rest of the space.

You can see that some of the shelves have plenty of room on them. This is because I have plans to fill that space. Lots of ideas for more Lurkers, with a few Special Agents joining the Ministry.

I will post a few more pictures of the individual groups later, time permitting...
