OH BUT I LOVE display cases. A fair number of my erst while friends boasted some splendid collections (including some of my stuff) in attractive display cabinets. With moi, after some 50 years (this coming January) of painting I have only managed to hold onto my most recent pieces & they're on display in empty egg cartons...there is a possibility I might not be an actual collector.
All that aside, The Collection looks WONDERFUL in their cool little home.

Did you or someone make that case? Do you have instructions? I may be looking for that and mug my father to build me some! He does woodworking as a hobby.

It was pretty much your fault, mate.
At least in the begining.
I had seen a few of the threads for Strange Aeons and was mildly curious and then you went and placed that advert in the Bazar.....
Once I had read the rules I was hooked!
What started off as a small side-project has grown into something that I never dreamt of.
Not that I am complaining. Certainly not, I love it!

As for a blog, the answer is: No.
Although this thread is pretty much the same thing, I think.

No, I did not make it.
My Missus bought me a couple of cabinets for my birthday two years ago, and another last year.
Now I need more!
They are from a UK company, so postage would be pretty stiff across the pond, I would imagine.
Although I do not think it would be too difficult for someone with the right know-how and tools.
Ask your father, you never know....

Here is a closer in shot of the Ministry as it stands now.

The main Headquarters Division is on the central shelf, with the African Division top left, Military attachments top right and the Russian Division on the bottom.

The Ministry is pretty much finished for now, although, as there is a little space left, I will be adding a few Special Agents to it over time when I get around to them. In fact, one of them is almost finished and should be added in the next week or so, time permitting.

I will add some closer in pictures of the Lurkers later, with a few notes of what is to be added to each themed section....

That's a rag-tag bunch you have there.

They look great. It's an impressive collection!

  • Pedantic bugger, apparently.
A splendid collection, mason.

Thank you aggro and Steve!

Some closer in shots of the Lurker groups already started, with a few details of planned additions to them from the box of stuff already accumalted.
These will be added as time permits

Firstly, The Hospital Staff

These are coming along pretty well, and I must admit are a bit of a favourite group of mine as the possibilities for adding members to their ranks seems fairly open.

At the moment I am working on a few more Guards, armed with firearms this time, and a large monster similar enough to a Shambler for me to use those stats as they are.

Next up are the Zombies so far

Only seven Zombies and the single Construct so far, but I have another four Zeds and another Construct in the box, awaiting attention.
The Zombie horde will be added to significantly over time, with the intention to complete a small horde for when I move onto Apocalypse 1929, a planned future project of mine.
I am waiting for my Studio Miniatures to arrive having joined the Kickstarter for that one. They will need a little converting and putty work, I think, but that should prove entertaining. Also a few of the Zombie Vixens from Wargames Factory are a must have, I reckon...

Next up are the Cult.

Altough there are plenty of them to keep me going for some time, I feel a few more would not go amiss, for larger games where two or more Ministry Teams can join forces.
I was considering doing a second Cult instead, but that can wait until the Kulten expansion is released.
There will be a few more standard Cultists added to this group, along with another Suicide Cultist that needs a little conversion work, some larger leaders of the Cult to be hiding under the robes of the larger figures (more of that later, I would like to keep those as a surprise for the players!) and a large Beastie for them to Summon, a Carnivorous Worm!
I also have to decide on a symbol for the Cult, to be painted on their robes....

If anyone has any ideas of things that can be added to any of the above groups, then please voice them.
All suggestions are most welcome.
 :)

Back later with the other groups....

VERY COOL...I love Group Portraits. It does, however, look like the Forces of Unpleasantness are somewhat out numbered by the Goody Two Shoes Types.

From the cultists the fella in the white shirt and only the cowell is my fave, tho it's  not needed a few more of those type of "civies" cultist would look sweet.

From the hospital staff, I love the gorilla and the robot. Perhaps another robot or some enraged chimps to keep Kerchak company.... My 2p

Everything looks awesome tho! Top notch fella.
