You just leave that to me, young master, I'll have it looking a treat for ya whilst you're away with the weathering powders...

Cracking! They look good.

I think shotgun Bob would make a rather effective car salesman too.

The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

Thanks, Bert!
I thought that they may be a little overdone for this project, but as they will be an integral part of Apocalypse 1929, I thought I may as well get as much ready for that as possible...

Kinky!

You are right about Bob,: I bought two more from him earlier!
 ;)

I managed to get two more weathered up earlier (not a difficult task as it only takes about half an hour for each vehicle.
I will take some pics and post them tomorrow.
I think that the newer ones came out better.

I will let you guys decide when they are up...

Cheers, aggro!

The other two Matchbox Models of Yesteryear vehicles, a couple of Model T Ford Ford Trucks.
Again, Shotgun Bob poses with them for scale.

The British Petroleum Tanker Truck

Always a favourite with Cultists, great for packing with explosives for that destructive diversion!

The Express Dairy Milk Tanker.

Who says that it has to always contain milk....?

I think that these two came out pretty weel, with the oppurtunity to really add dirt and chipping to the tanks on the back.
The best thing about these is the fact that the tanks can be removed, creating a flatbed truck option.

Mobile Maxim machine gun anyone...?

The trucks are FANTASTIC little gems. I think a Mother's Bakery Truck would fit in...you could then have a Mother Trucker. That aside, VERY WELL DONE!

I thought that I might have done just that.
Seems that I have got away with it.

Thanks, chaps!
Well, it is not too difficult, and only takes about 30mins each.
I could save one and 'dirty' it up the next time you are both over.
I still have five more vehicles to do, including the M.O.O.S.(E). Bentleys and the Cult Roller!

Or a step-by-step on here.
Whichever suits best...

I still have not posted the pictures taken during the second of last week's games.
Will post the pictures tomorrow...

I have one of those tanker trucks.   It is very easy to separate the tank from the truck.   You can then exchange the tank and make it a flatbed.  The tank fit easily back on.

Nice truck, Oldben1.
I like the sepia tones.

Here are a few pictures from the other game involving the team from the Thames Valley.
They were accompanied by a Special Agent, Dr Post-Humous, Ministry Medic.
Their mission: Treasure Hunt.
(Apologies for the rather bright pictures. It was dark so a flash had to be used, and it has made the colour appear very intense).

Whilst Dr Dixwith-Naychure and his minions would try to stop them.

The Mad Scientist had brought some of his latest experiments with him, along with a new type of serum.

The new serum did not seem to be working very well.

Not very well at all.

Fortunately for the Mad Scientist, his Guards were much more responsive, and were moving forwards to engage the Ministry interlopers.

The demented madman was leaving a trail of twice-dead corpses in his wake.

His serum would definitely need some modifications, it was simply destroying all of his guinea pigs!

As the Guards advanced, they were engaged by the forces of His Majesty and a fierce gun battle ensued.

The Mad Scientist led the last of his charges forward as his Guards were coming off worse in the firefight.

As the last of his Guards was gunned down, the Mad Scientist had no choice but to charge headlong into the fray.

Unfortunately for the Mad Scientist, he did not fare much better, and was swiftly cut down by the Thames Valley leader, Aubrey Werther-Minte.

That just left Aubrey the task of taking down the last wandering zombie, which he did with a shot straight between the eyes!

A much more straightforward mission for Aubrey and his team, the only casualty that they took during the firefight being tended to by their Medic. Unfortunately for them though, they could not find the Treasure that was rumoured to have been at the location, despite the fact that the entire team searched for it.
Maybe the rumours were false...

Things for the Lurkers could not have turned out much worse.
Of the five Zombies injected (trying for that terrifying result of making them into Blasphemous Constructs), it was obviously a dodgy batch of serum as the results were: one 'no effect', one had a +1 Con whilst the other three simply died!
Not the greatest return....

That put too much pressure on the three Guards, who were simply outgunned and the result became inevitable.

A better result for Bert this time, no Constructs to chase him around the board!

It was a very good game for me - another win! A rare thing of great beauty...

Genuinely some tense moments of nervy anticipation whilst I waited for the dice to roll and determine what happened to the zombies - would it be Blasphemous Construct time or would the undead shufflers have their chips...

"We hope it's chips, it's chips!"

(apologies to the makers of McCain Oven Chips ;D)

The game could have gone oh so very differently had Mason brought one (or more!) of those damned Constructs into creation; I know from bitter experience just how hard they are to kill! And just how easily they kill in return...

To quote Warrant Officer Ripley in Aliens - "We can't afford to let even one of those things get in here!"  :o

As luck would have it, Mason (via his avatar of Dr Dixwith-Naychure) tried pumping his filthy serum into his undead wards, the dirty old necrophile ( o_o), and succeeded in killing most of them off! That's some naaaaaastee stuff in that there syringe...

 :)

There was talk of formulating some rules as to what might happen if the Dirty Doc succeeded in injecting a live victim with the stuff - I hope Mason chooses one of the other teams to continue his experiments in that area! If he comes anywhere near me with that needle of his he'll be wearing his bowels as a bobble hat...

 >:(

Looking forward to my next set of encounters in the bizarre and often frightening world of Strange Aeons (who'd have though South East London could be so horrifying outside of a Friday night in Peckham...The Dulwich Horror indeed!).

Bert/Aubrey
