Awesome AAR guys. You sure have some fun games and they look sweet to boot. I like seeing the Lurkers hang themselves in a game! What line is that electrocuted zombie from?

Fun looking game. Back to the lab for the good Dr.

Reading this AAR made me think it might be fun to play a variant on the specimen collection scenario. This time with Dr Dixwith out to collect a live threshold specimen with tranqueliser and net gun for "studying".

A lurker win could result in...
BREAKTHROUGH Although the specimen didn't survive long the experiment proved most insightful. From now on the Dr gains +1 to his rolls when injecting Diabolical serum.

Or
Monstrous reputation News of this depraved scientist has reached the publics ears. He now causes fear.

Just a thought.
"The sword sung on the barren heath,
The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

There was talk of formulating some rules as to what might happen if the Dirty Doc succeeded in injecting a live victim with the stuff - I hope Mason chooses one of the other teams to continue his experiments in that area! If he comes anywhere near me with that needle of his he'll be wearing his bowels as a bobble hat...

Working on it, mate.
Looking for a 'volunteer' to try it out..... ::)

Thanks, Yetis Yell!
The Lurkers certainly did 'hang themselves' in that one.
It could have been so different...... :'(

It is a Horrorclix repaint.

I really like this fella and have a few new Mad Scientists to add to the staff.
More on those very soon... ;)

Rights? What rights?

That idea certainly has some substance.
Maybe we could try that out on the Highland Division.....?
 ;)

Not sure if a Doc should get a +1 on Serum rolls.
That would give them double the chance of creating a construct.
 :o

You may want to try facing one before you go about suggesting that they be easier to create.
They are damn scary!

Haha! Fair point Mason. I guess I just felt sorry for the poor Dr.
My next game will be my fourth so I'm expecting to see some nastyness as I'm past the "three games with cultists" mark. ( and my BP is fairly high).  One way or the other it'll be a bloodbath.

Ok.. I just looked over the stat line of the Construct. What a Monster!! Con 8/9 and 4 wounds!
Perhaps a +1 on that roll would be a wee bit overbalanced. Haha!

On a side note I think the mini I chose to represent a Construct might actually be a little small now :o

Oh, it will, trust me!

No, it will be fine.
Think of it as portaying the 'change'.
 ;)
(Plus it is a great mini!)

Thanks, aggro!

I picked up a few more things for SA at SELWG yesterday: Demonic Hound, Construct, baby Missing Link, two more die-cast cars, and a few civilian figures to be converted to Zombies.

So much for not buying any more until I have finished the unpainted horde...... ::)

Off to make a start on some of them now...

The little fella is nice, isnt he?
I am looking forward to painting it, too, but it will have to join the queue.
The only problem with the queue is it keeps growing!

Got some time to do some stuff earlier.
Mostly assembling, converting and basing some civilians/zombies.

A little time was used up finishing another couple of the vehicles.

First up is one of the recent acquisitions:

A 1909 Opel Coupe

Another from the Matchbox Models of Yesteryear range.
I thought this was a good purchase as it is a very different look to the other cars and trucks, which all look very similar.

As also finished the Cult Limousine

A 1930 Model 'J' Dusenberg Town Car from the same Matchbox range.

I did finish one more of the Mad Scientists experiments.
That will be posted tomorrow when the base is done.

Until then...

COOL NEW WHEELS! I took my road test for my driver's license in my Great Uncle Eddie's Duesenberg "J"...there's quite a story to that one.
