YET ANOTHER REASON to avoid members of the Medical Profession.

The state of the NHS these days...

Hey! I resemble those remarks!! Hehe.

The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

This one I like very much Mason. Crazed nurse is right up my street. Haha! I love the guts she's holding. Interested in seeing her new head.
Thanks, smokezombie!
She is, isnt she?
 lol
The other figure has received a new head (now finished).
He is 'right up your street' too!

He certainly does need some help after Betty gave the sucker both barrels! lol

Dont get too cocky, mate!
 :D

Superbly visceral mate! I love it.

The state of the NHS these days...

Cheers, mate!
I wont be passing any comment on the NHS.
Yet...

Very cool!

Thanks, styx!

YET ANOTHER REASON to avoid members of the Medical Profession. VERY WELL DONE! That cool mini certainly painted up even cooler...the lump of raw meat is blessedly unrecognizable.

Thanks, Amigo!
'Unrecognisable', you say?
Hmmm......

Hey! I resemble those remarks!! Hehe.

 lol
Yes. You do, dont you.

Well, the other Zombie is done.
I will post up a picture tomorrow.
Also made a start on a new piece of scenery.
More on that when it is finished...

Thanks, aggro!
I am pretty happy with her.
 :)

Here is the other Zombie, the Dead Doctor.

Another Horrorclix model, but this time with a Westwind SoTR german zombie head swap.
(The original head looked like it belonged on an inflatible Bart Simpson, so it had to go!)

I think that I have overdone the blood at bit, but he will do.

Hope you like him....

if you dab a bit of gloss varnish onto the red bits it'll look more gory :D

I am of the firm opinion that you should paint a target on him, the nurse and all other maniacs you have Mason.  :D

I keep meaning to get some Tamiya Clear Red for that sort of thing, but never remember it.
You are right, though, gloss varnish will do the job as well.

 lol
You would still fail to hit them if they were all dressed in day-glo orange romper suits!

(For information: smokezombie's Scottish team had a couple of outings last night and was given a torrid time by a few Maniacs. We took some pictures, so expect a brief report of these games later in the week  ;))

Thanks, obsidian3d!
Any luck finding any usable 'clix of your own?

I have been working on the next piece of scenery, a warehouse/barn kind of thing. During what I call 'drying time', waiting for one lot of jollop to set before applying the next, the penultimate vehicle has been finished off.

I could not resist buying this at SELWG, it just screams 'BRITISH!' to me, it had to be added.

The Harrods Van.

It is a Matchbox Models of Yesteryear Walker Electric Van.

'The Walker 1 Ton Balance Drive Electric Truck was manufactured by the Walker Vehicle Company, Chicago, USA. During the early twenties, Harrods Ltd had a fleet of 60 vehicles in the distinctive green and cream livery, and these electric vans were used to deliver goods to Harrods customers throughout London.
The van is driven by an electric motor, developing 3.5 HP, contained within the differential housing of the rear axle. The vans had a range of around 50-60 miles per charge, depending on the gradients, with a maximum speed of 12 MPH.
Today, the only known example is owned by Harrods Ltd, Knightsbridge, and can be seen taking part in the annual historical Commercial Vehicle London to Brighton Run.

Battery- 60 cell Edison, Nickel Iron, Nominal 72 volts.
Battery weight- 11 cwt.
Overall weight- 2 tons. 7 cwt.'

I think it is a great addition to the collection, being so quintessentially British.
It just had to be done...

I think the Harrod's leccy truck would make an excellent new 'nut wagon' for your growing collection of lurking oddities, Mason! A special delivery from Harrods might not be quite what the customer was expecting...

Love the new zombie doctor, by the way. I am sure I've seen him at my local GP's - he's probably got more medical acumen than some I've encountered in Catford...

 ::)

And I would never dream of impuning your professional skills, Smoke Zombie - we're on the same side, mate! i :) It's Mason we need to concentrate on thrashing...

Metaphorically, spiritually or physically - your choice! ;D

Sounds like he needs it if he whupped you again this week - ne'er, fear, I brought my losing streak to an end, so I have faith in the Scawtish Division!

That is COOL &, as you said, very British looking...despite being made in Chicago. The weathering is EXCELLENT. VERY WELL DONE!

I like Bert's idea for a Loony Pick Up Service.
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx
