I think the Harrod's leccy truck would make an excellent new 'nut wagon' for your growing collection of lurking oddities, Mason! A special delivery from Harrods might not be quite what the customer was expecting...

 lol
Harrods Special Nut Delivery Service!

And I would never dream of impuning your professional skills, Smoke Zombie - we're on the same side, mate! i :) It's Mason we need to concentrate on thrashing...

Metaphorically, spiritually or physically - your choice! ;D

Once you've finished house sitting well give Mason a good hiding Bert old bean.

 lol lol lol
The plan seems to be working!

That is COOL &, as you said, very British looking...despite being made in Chicago. The weathering is EXCELLENT. VERY WELL DONE!

I like Bert's idea for a Loony Pick Up Service.

Thanks, DeafNala!
OK, the truck may be from Chicago, but Harrods is about as British as you can get... ::)

Pick up, and delivery! Looking forward to that AAR, Mason 8)

Coming soon!

Mason fella. I think you might have posted yourself into a new themed lurker group.
Degenerates in Harods uniforms perhaps  :D

 lol
Does sound like a good idea, though...like I NEED another Lurker group to paint.  ::)

They like to "hamper" M.O.O.S.E plans.

The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

Thanks, James, but I feel that you are only encouraging the buggers!

As mentioned earlier, smoke zombie took his Scottish team out for a couple of missions earlier in the week.
The first game was the Crypt Scenario.

Here is the set-up that we used for the game:

Poor old smokezombie and his team from North of the Border had a torrid time at the hands of two Maniacs, who managed to take down the whole of the team between them!
If that was not enough to worry about the threat of a Blaphemous Construct, created by the Mad Scientist from one of his pet Zombies, was always on the horizon!

The team failed to deal with the lunatics before the Agent in the Crypt could return, leaving the poor man to the attentions of the Mad Doctor upon his return.

Here are a few pictures taken during the game:

The Specialist Agent was ready to descend into the Crypt as the team sought to hold off the enemy.

The rest of the team took up position behind the wall of the old church, ready to protect the Specialist as he searched amidst the horrors of the Crypt.

The right flank of the Asylum assault team; A maniac advances supported by a couple of Armed Guards.

The Mad Scientist injects a Zombie and marvels at the outcome as a Blasphemous Construct is 'born'!

Whilst one group of Asylum staff advance on the right, another group head through the ruins in the centre.

One of the Maniacs trying to track down one of the last members of the team.

It was a tough day at the office for the team from the Highlands.

I will let smokezombie tell you of the effects on the team...

Bally bad luck to the chaps from the Scottish Office :-X. Sounds like a rough one, mate - maniacs and a construct is hard going! I often find the Quest scenarios hard work - my advice is to avoid them for the most part for a while, until you build up your skills, which is what I intend to do. I haven't won a single Quest scenario yet! They seem like a good mechanism for losing me Map Pieces...

 >:( ( ;) )

Good AAR again though Mason, and it looked like a very characterful game even if it was hard on poor Smoke Zombie.

Think the Socttish Office and Thames Valley Division need to call in the lads from the Irish team - they're nails!

Better luck next time, old chap. M.O.O.S.(E) will prevail! Given that we're talking about M.O.O.S(E) and the Scottish Office, I keep thinking of that tune 'There's a moose, loose, aboot this hoose'! :o

It was a really tough game. an odd one too as even though the lurkers ger reinforcements they only have three turns to get in on the action. The intrepid explorer actually made it to the third level of the crypt and was on his way out ( and to victory) when those pesky maniacs mopped the team up. I forgot to use my lucky kilt and tight sporren.. perhaps even they wouldnt have helped. One maniac was locked in cc with 3 members of my team for probably about 4 or 5 rounds...sigh. I feel like blaming the dice but I fear the Scottish division had their eye on the prize and forgot about the race.

Injury wise I sustained 2 minor injurys ( phew) but four major.. this seemed quite apt as those cleavers were rising and falling all night.

Captain D Jackson was the luckiest.. he now hates maniacs.
Revrened Green developed haptophobia... not too bad as he is my dynamight expert ( tho I stupidly reequiped him with a battle axe)
Lizzie Duncan to my great annoyance developed amnesia.. promptly forgetting the skill she learnt last game... grrrr... I despair of her ever learning to cast spells.

Finally..and quite commicly.. Sister Beatrice ( who was crippled last game).... was crippled again!! Zero actions for her. After a few seconds of head scratching we rerolled and decided she was dead afterall.

Re equiping I gave a battle axe to the man most unlikely to enter close combat, a sword to my leader and the convent sent out another plump sister ( civillian) to replace the tommygun toting Sister B.

A good fun game with atrocious rolling and poor recisions on my part while mason was the personification of luck, but also quite gentlemanly and helpfull. I do believe that I was two turns away from the agent leaving the crypt ( but a hairs breath from complete and utter disaster )

....bloody maniacs...

Have a fine vacation, fella. :D

Sandy is blowing by us (Florida) but I feel sorry for the east cost, as they appear to be getting the "Perfect Storm" (if you read the book), a cold weather front is hitting the hurricane, so add snow to hurricane conditions...and a full moon (high tide, thus worse flooding)....feel sorry for the New England States and down...

Problem is as you build up, so do the Lurkers...to me striking early when a team is young is often better...
