You see I am making an effort now Mason.

You are indeed, mate.
A cracking start, just ignore Bert, he has not been well lately.

And a good effort at that Marko! Very nice, mate. Wasn't aware they had many cowboys in the Devon area - is he some kind of unscrpulous tradesman?  ;)

It's all part of the MOOSE International Agent Exchange to increase relations across the Atlantic after WW1.

Or perhaps the hat was on sale at John Lewis.

The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

Go for it, Mike.
It is a nice set of plastic pieces and takes well to a bit of drybrushing.
Looking forward to seeing it if/when you do.

Thanks, Theatralic, your comments much appreciated.
In fact, it was a few of the other chaps who post on  this board that made me take the plunge myself.
Welcome to the Cult.
I am sure that it will be extremely enjoyable.
 :)

Here is a WIP shot of the Crypt.

I hope to make a little more progress later, but will have to stop early as we shall be starting the playtesting of Apocalypse 1929, a Strange Aeons based zombie apocalypse game set in the British Isles.

Have a look here for more details:

There should be a report of the first playtest in the next few days...

It is made from parts of the Fortified Manor House.

A small update on the Crypt;

Should finish it today and have some proper 'in situ' pics over the weekend.

Just looking at that crypt I can get a whiff of that curious odour of damp and dust these old places exude. If we could look through the window I know we'd see cobwebs in the eaves.

The construction and painting are both the work of a master at the top of his game.

Thanks, Bezzo!
I did warn you that it may well look a little different when it was finished... ;)

WARNING: Much scenic material was used in the making of this terrain piece!

Hope you like it.

(More, and better, pictures to follow of the Chapel 'in use'.... ;))
