Thanks, pocoloco!
The (not-so) Good Doctor will be done later in the year along with some of his creations.
 ;)

It is an old Citadel Miniature. A Demon (I think). Pre slotta.
Cannot be more specific than that, I am afraid, mate.
If anyone can be it would be appreciated, as I do know it from somewhere, just cannot remember where...

It's one of the C34 Elementals and Demons- chaos demon (link to solegends/ pic), and quite a nicely painted one at that.

^Agents should nuke the meeting site aka graveyard from orbit!!  >:D Lacking possible means to achieve that, then send in few teams with flamethrowers!

It sounds like you should be working for M.O.O.S.(E).!!!
 ;)

I love the Boss Ghoul Guy; I have vague memories of the mini...of course, I have vague memories of a lot of things. That aside, a GREAT mini with a suitably FINE paint job.  VERY WELL DONE!

Thanks, Al!
It has been eluding me too... ::)

Gross! But cool.

Thank you, sir!

Nice PJ Mason.hes a nice mini, lots of character, and quite a substantial weight in lead too  lol

Thanks, mate.
It is a chunky lump, as you can testify next time you are in my neck of the woods.

Your really cranking your production line up recently fella. Got something special planned for the big one zero zero page?

I am actually planning to slow things down considerably soon.
Just finishing off the last of the 'gaps' in the existing groups.
Maybe going out with a bang would be a good idea...
(Not that I am stopping here, but it is the Year of the Butterfly and I must flit around more...)

I knew that I remembered it from somewhere.
Now I can confirm that as there are are few on that page that I distinctly remember sitting in blisters, those Elementals especially.

Thank you, Mr Zed!

A small update of a WIP that is almost completed.
They are another impulse purchase made at Cavalier last month, Vardu Sprouts from Hydra Miniatures.
I thought that they would be perfect for making a few Swarm bases for my Mad Scientists.

Here is one of the finished articles:

They come in a blister of eight models, two of each type. I just bent the 'arms' a little to try and give them a little variety.
The only problem with eight models is I wanted three models to each Swarm base so I had to find something else to put on one of the bases to fill it up.

I have just found something that should work, so I will slap some paint around and see if it works...

Back later with the results....

Really nice sculpts for such small models, I'll have to have a browse around the website.

Hydra minis are propper cool. I am secretly in love with the space vixen leader. Currently too shy to purchase her  :-*

Nice sprouts. I want them for my own botanical madness  :'(

The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

Dont do it!
These were a complete impulse buy when I said that I was not going to add to the SA leadpile. It is big enough already.

Their Retro Raygun range was REALLY tempting, but I need another project like I need another hole in my head.
You have been warned, mate!

See!
Another one who has had his head turned.

As for the Sprouts: I should have picked you up a pack, mate.
Sorry!
Didnt occur to me at the time.....

I have finished the last base and its little addition.
I will take some pics of them all 'Swarming' later and post them up.

EXCELLENT! Its good to see the Weeds fighting back...that'll teach those wimp Vegans. I'm not familiar with Hydra at all, but those are GREAT & HIGHLY IMAGINATIVE pieces...nicely painted & based to boot. VERY WELL DONE!

Now that sounds like a cunning plan!

Thanks, Amigo!
I had not noticed them before either, but they were certainly a pleasant find.

Here are the finished Swarm bases:

Group shot:

As you can see there is an 'infected zombie', covered in leaves and vines, filling that last space on the final base.
It is a Horrorclix model (no idea of the correct name) that has had its legs cut off to blend in a little better.

Close up of the 'zombie':

I think it made quite a nice solution to the problem.

Hope you like them...

Another shot of the Sprouts Swarming:

I think it gives a better idea of how they will look on the table.
