Nice!

Thanks, styx!

Introducing the leader of the new Robotics Division of the Mad Science Lurkers.
A handy little find in my bits box whilst looking for the Crowman (who I have not gotten around to yet).

I think this little fella will make the perfect leader for the Mechanical Menace.

Introducing Dr Otto Mayted.

And the Doctor with his Minions

I have a couple more Robots to add to this faction courtesy of a couple of members of this forum.
Thanks, chaps!
 :D
I shall add them as soon as I get a chance.

Hope you like their new Leader...

Hes a nice little mini. Wheres he from?
"The sword sung on the barren heath,
The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

Very nice wee little evil genius mastermind leader!  :D

Well he looks smallish next to the flanky and tall bots but I fear his minions will prove difficult adversaries for the agents. Lovely to see rest of his Mechanical Menaces.

Cheers, mate!
He is a Rackham Confrontation Dwarf.
Cannot remember exactly which one.
OOP nowadays, methinks.

He is not that small next to a normal fella, but against those tall robots....
Using this Lurker band should be fun and I hope to get a chance to do the next two mechanicals soonish.
The good thing about robots is there are not too many colours, so they should not take too long.
I hope....!

I need to resist the urge to purchase bots myself  :P

Are you going to use the robots in your VSF ventures as well?

Multi-genre?
That is the story with pretty much everything these days.
Scenery that can be used in as many ways as possible is where it started and now it applies with the miniatures as well.
(My Old West project is where this will REALLY come to the fore.  ;))

Not so much VSF with these guys, although the first one was bought as the Butler (need to add the tray) to Colonel Lambert of the British Expeditionary Force, but they will certainly be used in a more Pulp setting in future.

Other parts of this collection WILL be used in VSF, though, particularly the African Division.

So some will be used in VSF, but most will be Pulp related.
In fact, the whole SA collection will work perfectly well in a more generic Pulp setting.
Bonus!

M.O.O.S.(E). Agents team up with their U.S. counterparts from Threshold to combat the insidious threat posed by The Asylum!

Reports have surfaced of the alliance formed by M.O.O.S.(E). and their American cousins to counter the evil machinations of the terrorist organisation known only as the Asylum.

Agents have been sent across the Atlantic with vital information regarding the activities of one US citizen, a Dr Hugh Jarse.
It appears that Dr Jarse had fled to Britain after being added to the 10 Most Wanted list in the States following his research and illegal experimentation with the Project Life Serum.

Threshold want him apprehended and returned to the States to answer for his crimes.

The Minister has promised them whatever help they need in detaining this sick individual.

Information places the last known location of the Mad Scientist in the region of the Thames Valley, the area that comes under the care of Aubrey Werther-Minte. This is where the men from Threshold would begin their search.

The Threshold Agents arrive at the Ministrty Divisional HQ in Oxford, seemingly ready for whatever obstacles that would be placed in their path...

More details to follow....

Yeah, this was the result of the Thames Valley team tooling up a bit before starting a Black Dossier. Several games were played in order to resolve the first scenario - I'll leave Mason to fill in the datails!  ;)

As Bert has mentioned, these were the reinforcements to be added to his team at the start of his attempt at completing a Black Dossier.
They took the form of two Agents sent from the USA by Threshold to apprehend Dr Hugh Jarse who have teamed up with Bert's Thames Valley Division in an attempt to capture the Mad Scientist.

So, let me introduce them properly.
Meet Randy Fellows and Remington Slide:

Threshold Agents on British soil, working with the Thames Valley Division
in:

THE HUNT FOR HUGH JARSE!

Black Dossier Case File RH-20-04-70.

The first installment of which will be transmitted soon.....

The Hunt for Hugh Jarse!
AKA: This Green and Unpleasant Land.

A Black Dossier campaign involving the Thames Valley Division of M.O.O.S.(E). led by Aubrey Werther-Minte, and ably assisted by the Agents of Threshold (USA).

(Legionnaire Bert has heroically offered to be the crash test dummy for the  play testing of my own Black Dossier mission:

This Green and Unpleasant Land

It concerns a zombie outbreak in the British Isles but could equally take place anywhere with some minor adjustments.
It follows the standard BD format of allowing the player to re-equip his or her team, with no limits, at the onset of the sequence of missions, but no further re-equip is allowed until (if!) the Dossier is completed and the File is considered Closed.

Bert chose to add a few choice items of equipment and two further Agents to his team, hence the two new figures shown previously representing the Threshold Agents which would be accompanying his team).

The Thames Valley Division with two Agents of Threshold accompanying them at the onset of their Mission.

 The setting behind the Dossier:

Dr Hugh Jarse, Mad Scientist and one of the USA's 10 Most Wanted was at large somewhere in Britain.

He was the creator of Project Life Serum, a scientific research development that made the breakthrough discovery that was purported to be the elixir of everlasting life.
This was a Top Secret project at its inception, rumoured to have been, at least partially, funded by the US Government. This has since been strenuously denied, of course, but many believe it to be true.
Things were going pretty smoothly for some time until strange tales began to leak from the facility in the Nevada desert.
Reports of gruesome experiments and volunteers mysteriously disappearing were amongst the milder of stories surrounding the facility. These tales began to grow wilder and wilder before the facility was eventually closed following a raid by Government forces.

The truth behind the rumours that abound regarding this 'research' is well hidden, but the stories that persist about it grow more horrendous as time passes.

The Doctor himself managed to evade capture and seemed to disappear  without trace, but rumours of his trail resurfacing in Blighty appear to have some basis in truth.
He is now believed to be in league with the terrorist organisation known as the Asylum, a league of Mad Scientists with ambition to conquer the world.

To be continued...
