You know back when I started (yup with 40k 4th) I didn't see the big deal about fully painted figures and tables and terrain, I just wanted to play the game. However your stuff is a prime example of just how much better things are when it's done right. A great looking game is way more fun I think.
Thank you, obsidian3d!
I have to say that I do prefer a nice looking game over the alternative....

looking good so far Mason!

I am predicting a lot of dead agents in your next update though.

Thanks, aggro!
We shall have to see, wont we...?
Scenario 2: The Supply Run (Pt 2)The Thames Valley division were making their way across the clearing in their search for supplies as the Zombie horde made their groaning way towards them.
The team would have to be co-ordinated to both fend off the Zombies and search the crates in an efficient fashion.
Aubrey ordered the rest of the team forward to provide cover as Father deBetta approached the first pile of crates and began to search them.
Unfortunately for the good Father the crates and barrels already had an occupant.
An occupant who was very angry at being disturbed!

Poor Father deBetta had no chance.
Surprised by the vicious Giant Vermin he fell to the ground, screamed briefly and was then silent.
Could it have been any worse a start for the Agents of the Crown?
Unfortunately for them, the answer was: YES!
Seeing the spray of blood that erupted from the head of the faithful clergyman the rest of the team then failed their subsequent Resolve checks.
Yes,
ALL of them!
This complete breakdown of nerve and disipline resulted in the entire team either screaming incoherently or laying catatonic on the ground.
Things were looking desperate!
The menacing jaws of the enormous rodent quickly closed on the nearest defiler of its den, clamping down on Agent Gloria Stitts and removing her from proceedings as well.
This also removed one of Bert's favoured Tommy-guns from the equation.
Two-nil to the forces of pestilence!
Bert had only one choice, as all of his team were laying on the ground in various states of mania, he activated Aubrey and charged the creature with his sword stick.

Aubrey made short work of the creature, his rage fuelled by the two inert forms of his colleagues laying on the ground.
He had no time to see to them now as he needed to get the rest of his team up onto their feet and in control of their fears.

There was no time to waste as they needed to be in a position to fend off the horde of Infected Dead that was steadily approaching!

The team were sufficiently recovered under the stern gaze of their embarassed leader as they reformed and began to seek more supplies.

From this point onwards, Aubrey and his team became much more methodical, advancing with Patrick the Postman searching for supplies whilst Aubrey and the rst of the team provided covering fire.
In fact they became so well drilled that they did not fail any further Resolve tests.
Each pile of crates that they came upon was efficiently searched by the Postie, his sorting skills obviously playing a major part in their sucess, and the contents ferried back to a point of safety.

Things did not go entirely their way, in fact they lost two more of their number to the clutches of the Infected, Randy and Patrick performing their allotted tasks valiantly to the end, before Remington and Aubrey himself carried the last two bundles of much needed supplies to safety.

It had been a close call, but the Agents of His Majesty won through in the end.
Well done, Bert.
It was a close run thing but the Thames valley Division came through in the end.
