The walking nuts and bolts look magnificent Paul, so shiny that I need to use the specs  8)

Will they have also some bot themed scenery to go along?

Antti: Are you a mind reader or something?
I have had an idea to do some modular 'industrial' type scenery so that a game can be played as if it were taking place inside a factory or somewhere similar.
The first piece has been sitting on top of one of my bookcases for months, just  waiting for the final bits to be stuck on before it sees some paint.
I may have to get to it soon(ish).
 ;)

More importantly, I had better post the Scenario #3 rules up soon, as we are hoping to get the next scenario or two in the Black Dossier played next week.

Wish Bert some luck!

Love them lots!

Just found this great looking generator which would work really well for an industrial setting

Thanks, Tas, that does look good.
 8)

I do not really want to spend too much on something that probably will not be used that often.
The first piece that is almost finished cost nothing at all.
It is made from stuff that has been left over from other projects or household 'junk' that was destined for the recycling bin.
I have a couple of ideas of how to make some more bits and pieces using 'junk', so this will be a small, intermittent project whenever I find some appropriate rubbish.
 ;)

Right, back to the Black Dossier....
.....................................................

Scenario #3: Night Of The Living…And Dead

The team had recovered their supplies and were now holing up for the night.
They planned to get some sleep, taking turns to keep watch.
That was all well and good until they heard the familiar sound of groaning, punctuated by maniacal howling.
The Dead didn’t need to sleep…..it was going to be a long night!!!

Requirements: Can only be played after the Threshold player has completed, and won, Scenario #2.

Lurkers: Only Zombies (of any type, including dogs and skill upgrades), Giant Vermin and Maniacs may be used. At least half of the available BP (rounded down) must be spent on Zombies (of any type).

Set up: The Threshold player sets up the table in any manner they wish. The Threshold player then sets up first, with all models within 10” of the centre point of the board.
In addition, one pile of Supplies for every three Threshold models (rounding down) is placed in the Threshold deployment zone. Supplies have the following profile: Con.5, W 2.
Lurkers are then set up in base contact with any (or all) board edges.

Special Rules:  At the start of each Lurker turn (before ‘nominations’ but after any Draws are fought)one Zombie (of any type) that has been removed from the table may be placed in base contact with any table edge and may be nominated, as normal, from then on.

Starting the game:  Both players roll a dice. Highest score goes first

Ending the game: The game continues until all the models from one side have been removed from the table.
It is only considered a win for the Threshold team if at least one of the piles of Supplies are left on the board when the game ends. They may be damaged, but must not be destroyed.

.................................

Legionnaire Bert should be coming around later on in the week to continue the Black Dossier, so you can expect a few more pics and an AAR of sorts then.
Depending on how sucessful he is, there will also be the write-ups for any scenarios that he completes.

Good luck, Bert!

Edit:*Reposted due to a slight error in the Scenario rules.

Nicely done. :)
Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing

Thanks, Mr. Peabody.

Next up is something that has been sitting in the 'to do' pile for a long time, but suddenly needed to pushed to the top of the list.

The British Red Telephone Box

With Matron Manley-Bild for scale purposes.

I have had this for almost a year as I think it sets the scene for a rural British setting perfectly.

As it will play a prominent part in Scenario #5, and Bert may well get there this week if he is lucky, I thought it was high time that it got a lick of paint.
 ;)

I shall say no more about the scenario just yet, as he has scenario #4 to get through first.
 :D

I like that!  Is the man with the brifcase from Coppelstone.  There is a Nazi interrogator from Pulp Figures that looks awfully close.

Copplestone he is, from the 'Honest Citizens?' pack (GN8).
He can fill a number of roles on the table.
One can never have too many civilians.
(They can be converted into Zombies very easily, too.  ;))

Just to let you know that Legionnaire Bert came round earlier and Scenario #4 of This Green and Unpleasant Land was played through with plenty of pictures taken.

A report shall follow tomorrow...

Scenario #4 was played last night.

The Agents had tracked down Dr Jarse.
All they had to do now was capture him.

Here is the set-up.

More later when I have sorted through the photos and made some sense of them...
