To be perfectly honest, mate, I am not sure if the Yesteryear range is made to any 'scale'.
I suspect that they may be made to fit the box.

They were very much so, discussion here http://vbcf.freeforums.org/models-of-yesteryear-scales-t304.html containing useful info about  scales etc.

On the basis we all love a bit of mystery I am prepared to say this idea came about because of my wife's favourite weekday breakfast and her dislike of commercial muesli.  :D

huge cereal silo?

Taking a risk that former user is not bang-on with his suggestion: I would say that there is every chance that you have thought of something that I have not.
I always try to make my scenery work in Krappefortt and 1920's Britain at the same time.
No-one else has this restriction, so you may well have a genius idea that I am lacking.

I had a feeling that that was the case, Tim.
They still work for me, though.
I have no found one that does not.
Yet!

oh, here is something, though it is not about a cereal silo but a molasses tank
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boston_Molasses_Disaster

and this has a bit more to do with cereals but usually not those consumed in the morning
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_Beer_Flood

these two incidents stretch over a period of 100 years, so I am sure, Beezzo will come up with something very inventive  ;) as usual

though we should not forget that breakfast cereal carton is one of the favourite  materials of scenery building  ;)

Some great potential scenarios for games there, former user.
Without the wikipedia entries to back them up, they would sound like far-fetched fiction.

I can also now see where the beer barrel came into your thinking.
 ;)

I do need to source one essential component, I have the major ones but the missing element needs to fit both K-fort and SA eras. I am confident I can come up with something (I think I am confident - maybe). I hope.

I am really looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Just as I've always suspected, behind all the EVIL in the World are the used car dealers...the new wheels keep getting COOLER with each new addition.

The brilliance of this one is in the grime on the bonnet. Wow. You really made this look like a period car.

As to your note that you've never had a MOY car that doesn't fit, here's a list of them so you can know before you buy:

Mason, you could start a whole new thread devoted to just your cars - they're absolutely gorgeous.... :)

I've given one of my characters one of these:

mainly becasue the name sounds so cool -
Maybach Zeppelin DS8 Cabriolet. The motor itself is rather pretty to look at as well. However, I haven't found a model of one yet.

I guess that it is because I have only bought cars that I have seen previously, so I had a fair idea of their size.
Thanks for the link, mate, that should prove very useful.
Much appreciated.

That IS a very nice looking vehicle, with a great name, Doug!
I will have to keep an eye out for one.

Cheers, Doug!
There are a couple more to finish off yet.
Not to mention the bus...

There are some available here and there, such as:

http://www.replicarz.com/1930-Maybach-Zeppelin-V12-DS8-beige-_-black/productinfo/MUS009/

Oh - nice find but a bit pricey for something that is just destined to be a bit of scene dressing - I'm very much a bargain hunter when it comes to vehicles.  Lovely looking model though and thanks for the link.

That is not as bad as it seems....you could always go for this one:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-43-MAYBACH-Zeppelin-DS-8-Streamlined-Cabrio-TU-1934-/111040048069?pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item19da80abc5

That one is simply unbelievable!
 :o

I will keep my eyes open for a more 'reasonably priced' version for you.
