That looks like it!

I think I will just see if I can Photoshop Shotgun Bob into the picture and save myself the work.

That's the ticket; tell the story well and the details can hang a bit.

Bezzo, I agree, ever since first encountering Maj. Gen. Tremorden Reddering's website I've been an advocate of this 'compressed scale' theory.
Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing

it is compressed scale, this is not surprising

Anyway, with a bit of conversion it should easily look more believable
I am not sure about the VSF look though, that might need a bit creativity

So the Golden Rule of Wargaming is employed. "Does it kinda look a bit like you wanted?"

That is what I shall be aiming for, Bezzo.
Lets see if I can make it work.
I have a feeling that the platforms of the station may well have to bit a little lower to compensate.
 ;)

This sums it up nicely:

......tell the story well and the details can hang a bit.

Thanks Mr P.
That link to the Maj. General's site is great.
It should prove invaluable with my VSF dabbling.
Much appreciated!
 :D

I am sure, with a bit of work and one eye closed, it will be OK in the end.

Hang on-I thought this was for your SA setting? I'm confidently expecting to see this little baby turned out in authentic GWR livery, accompanied byan authentic tender and with suitable Top-Hatted Station Master in attendancevery soon. :D

Then a british engine might be more suitable?

Doug

It is going to be primarily for my SA setting, but can still be used in VSF as a perfectly 'normal' steam train.
 ;)

I am not that fussed, mate.
This will do just fine.

Still have to make a tender, though.

got that yes  ;)
I am not supervising authenticity here - if any, the conversion I was thinking of is to make the thing appear more realistic and a bit larger and less like a toy

it would be hopeless to try to turn a 1900-1940 loco into something older, so fictitious it is and I personally would go to town with this
(of which I am not having the slightes doubt that You will @Mr Mason)  ;)

Sorry, Mathyoo.
I did deliberate use the title as play on Tcho-tcho, but did not intend any disappointment.

Here are the Boglins, my British equivalent to the Tcho-tcho...

A group shot of the Tribe.

OH BABY! Those are some of the most DELIGHTFULLY ugly Little Vermin that Four A has come up with. Your OUTSTANDING brushwork has highlighted all their innate charm. VERY WELL DONE!
