Love to see some shots of the final casts now!

Some shots of the castings will be made at the weekend, along with the obligatory size comparison pics with the existing ranges already out there.
 ;)

Good news for those of you that have already been given a quote for costs: They will be cheaper than first suggested.
PM's to follow over the next couple of days.

Here's to a successful adventure! I shall brew a celebratory pot of the Turner-Kropinski blend to commemorate the event.  :D
Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing

Here is a shot of some of them in their individual bags....

And one of each of the Cultists for a line up..........

The piccie that I took of the 'Others' was terrible, so they can wait.
 ;)

More and better pictures will be taken tomorrow afternoon, when I should have the time to do so.
Shots of the pack contents and some comparison pics with other ranges will be taken too.

Cheers, Steve!

It was rather strange actually, some were in lots of pieces but four of them suffered no damage whatsoever...weird.

A question for you, as you cast your own: Can I use the same greens again as a basis for another figure?

I cannot think of any reason why this would not work.

Unless the vulcanisation of the rubber has compromised the putty.... ???

Yeah the greenstuff sculpts "should" take repeated vulcanisations.  Eventually it will disintegrate though given the unknown (to you) levels of heat and pressure, who knows when  :D

I've got bits that have been through a couple of times.

Did you use much superglue in the greens?  It softens during vulcanisation so GS and metal bits will often come out in their respective parts.  Not always though.

Most of my greens stay together but there are still many that break into a lot of pieces.  I guess it's an issue of sculpt posture, mould layout, heat and pressure. One thing for sure though, when a green fractures I cross my fingers that I'm going to get a useable master.  ;)
