Good looking games once again! I really should get over to yr new gaff with the Kentish Team.

You should, mate.
Long time no see.

But hasn't this always been the case!  :D

Great AAR, I'm envious!

The games only get harder after the third scenario. Has he met a maniac with a teddy yet?  :D

I miss SA

What's that? Did someone say WWW2 with SA rules?

The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

You are right there: First three games are more like 'training sessions', they do get harder after that in our campaign.
Dont tell Painter 112, though, or Somerset may find itself without Agents!
 ;)

Oh, and No, he has not met any Maniacs yet, with or without Teddy Bears of Much Viscousness!
 :D

I miss SA

You know the answer to that, dont you...?

I have an idea along those lines.
I just need to finish off the troops first.....
Interested..?

Would certainly be interested to see your take on SA set in WWII, I picked up SA in the first place with that in mind (partly because Secrets of the Third Reich has replaced 40K as my principle platoon level game & I was trying to reduce the overall number of new minis I'd have to purchase & partly just because it's a cool idea).

It wasn't me UNLESS someone read my mind. Even got the stuff ready to go :)

Perhaps I'll sneak the Achtung Cthulhu books into Masons house and let them do their work.........

Somerset was firmly in the grip of Cult control....!

Being Somerset born and bred myself I can confirm that cult activity is indeed rife in the county, nameless and shameless rites and acts are particularly common in some rural areas, depraved orgies have also been spoken of.

Great battle report Mason

That sounds very sensible, mate.
I have thought about mixing up WWW2 with Cthulhu for some time now, but just did not want to go off on (another!) tangent.
I now have some figures that would work well for it so may well do something with them as a (hopefully!) short project later in the year.
I am rather tied up with my Old West stuff at the moment and have a couple of other things to do after that, but I know how easily distracted I am (oh, shiny.....) so may well do it before I planned to....

Now, don't be doing that, mate.
I have things to be getting on with and do not need the distraction....do I...?
 :D

The offer still stands, mate!

Good!

We need to talk.

Cheers, Mearc.

It sounds fun where you live!
 :D

Mearc
No wonder house prices are so bloody high there!!!

Super AAR Mason but anything else would be remarkable.  ;) It would be like Lionel Messi missing a penalty.

Cheers, mate, you old flatterer you.... :)

I have taken some pictures of the second Agent sculpt.
I will post them later for your opinion as I am unsure about one particular area on it...

Here is is: Agent #2...

As you can see, he is a bigger fella armed with a sawn-off shotgun.

It is his legs that I am unsure of.
I am considering making them a little thicker, although I am torn as I quite like the kind of awkward look they give him.

Anyone have an opinion on them..?

The thinness/awkwardness of the legs could be covered by extending the bottom of coat down past his arse.

Still - great work mate. Much improvement there form the earlier works.

The Big Guy looks COOL...& he's dressed for it. I rather like the legs as they are; re, while most mini makers seem to strive for perfect proportions, most people are not built that way. GREAT WORK!

Also, I have a beard. A really nice one. Just like my avatar.  ::)

I think it's the left leg that catches the eye, but I agree with Al, it's a nice touch and helps give the figure character. Unless there is a strength issue with it and the legs are proportional to each other I'd be sorely tempted to keep it.
