Hahaha, great narrative. Glad Mary has taken a bold career move. I wish her well.

Cheers, Matt.
So do I.
 ;)

As always, a great writeup and an inspiring set of terrain on show there

Cheers, mate.
It has been a while...

That Star Wars miniature is perfectly grotesque!

It works for me.
 :D

I should have an update on the next sculpt or two on Friday, which will include the contents of the first three packs in the mould....

What a pictoresque setting for a game, once again!  :-*

Great AAR, once again, as well.

Cheers, mate.
It has been a while...

It has indeed. I have been popping by to see what is growing in Mason-land, but havn't had the time to stop and comment properly. The sculpts are coming along nicely

The majority of them look like they are from the Strange Aeons miniature range?

The leader with the Mitre is indeed from Uncle Mikes Worldwide.

There are a few different manufacturers in the Cult of the Purple-headed Worm:

The larger models at the back are all from UMW.
(As they are bigger I use them as Cult Leaders.)

All the rest are from Artizan Designs Thrilling Tales range..

....except for the little lad with the torch and the fella in the shirt and braces with shotgun, they are from Pulp Figures....

.....and the Maniac with the teddy bear is from Westwind Productions (one of their Asylum Inmates).

The 'sacrifice' at the front on her knees in white is a Maid Marian figure from Wargames Foundry, minus her legs..

As for the guest Cultists...

...they are from my own brand, Blind Beggar Castings, Cult Leader and Sister Shuusssh, which will go on general release next month, although I do have a few master castings that are available now.

Hope all that helps....

Love the latest battle report!
And I concur with the Hammer-fellow. A fish yielding deep one will be perfect for my collection :)

Always a pleasure to see something new from you Mason, be it a table set up, paint job, or of course your new endeavor of sculpting. Your enthusiasm is an inspiration to myself and I'm sure quite a few others. And of course, as always, thanks for sharing.
We haul ours to kick theirs.

This is great stuff. I've got that nobby spider as well, wonderful monster and well done here. Also, love that kid model!

I have plans for another couple of Hybrids....with a slight twist on the 'normal' flavour...

Thank you, sir.
You do flatter so, you charmer.

That SW model works perfectly as a Spider of Leng, I reckon.

There is a small update on the sculpting front.......but not much.

My eyes have been giving me a fair bit of grief for the past couple of weeks, causing me to have trouble focussing on small things for any length of time.

Therefore there has not been much progress with the sculpts lately.

It is rather annoying as I have had a week off work and had three sculpts each about 80-90% finished.

Here is one of them, something that has been sitting there like this for far too long, a variation on the previous Dark Nun.

Just a few more tentacles to add....

I am not overly concerned at the moment, mate, as this does happen to me from time to time.
I think that they just need a rest.
That usually works.

I could just be due some new bionic eyes as these ones are getting a little outdated now... ;)
