New specs.

Seems to happen more and more frequently... I'm due as well. We should have a miniature hobbyist's co-operative for discount optical services.
Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing

I'd certainly go for that... the ones I wear cost me upwards of $500 a pair.  >:(

The Squid Sister looks LOVELY in her own way...FINE WORK!

I would advise seeing an eye specialist pronto. Your sight is not something to take lightly...especially if it is a recurring problem.

Me too!

It seems that that is one of the risks of the job, though, dodgy eyes.....

Thanks, Al!

As for getting the old mince pies sorted: On the agenda, mate.
Not going to worry unless it persists too long.

I am more peeved that I have not got any sculpting or painting done lately because of it, to be honest.

Hopefully it will sort itself out soon enough.....fingers crossed.

Last night I managed to  finish the Alternative Dark Nun, the third Hooded One and the Mother from the Survivor family.

Here is a quick picture of the Dark Nun Revealed...

I shall need to take another picture later of the back of the sculpt, which shows a couple more tentacles escaping from beneath the robes that cover it.

Just the other two Hybrids (both of which have been started on) and the final figure in the mould, which will be something completely 'different', to go.

I hope to have them finished and ready for casting up by the middle of the month.

Fingers crossed my eyes behave until then....

Pictures of the Next Hooded One will be up soon....

Why it's Sister Mary Octopus from Our Lady of 129th Street...RUN! She fits the images of a Nun that a few Guys I know who are the products of the parochial school system have passed along to moi.  The mini is VERY COOL in a creepy sort of way. GREAT WORK!

I think that works pretty well, as the original Dark Nun hinted at something else other than human beneath the robes it wears.
I am considering one more of these for the future...

I am looking forward to making them.
I have a slightly different idea of what to do with my Hybrids now.
You will see what I mean pretty soon hopefully....

Until then, here is something that you, at least, may find appealing....

Hooded One #3

Hope ya like it.....

Paul, You are amazing
You are about to have a larger range than some start-ups. I've seen sculptors with less figures going Kickstarter or Indiegogo

A Spook is always a useful figure...at least with the stuff I come up with. GREAT LOOKING MINI!

Much appreciated.
I now have enough to do a pack of them at a lower price than individuals, which must be a good thing.
Hopefully.

I should have some 30+ 28mm scale figures done by the time I next get some cast up.
After that I need to sort out the Yeti and find a resin caster for both that and another item that will be added to the range and cast in resin.... ;)

All of which will be available to buy the old style way, no Kickstarter of Indigogo for this lot.

Just good old fashioned buying in the traditional manner.

That pack of hooded evil is going to be very useful; pack of ghosts; pack of degraded cultists; pack of scrawny ones; it's all of the above.

Everyone needs to do more gaming!

A small update.

Last night I managed to weather the two M.O.O.S.(E). Bentleys, whilst my missus was watching some some guff on the telly.
 ::)

Again, from the Matchbox Models of Yesteryear range.

They are from the 1930's, but I see them as prototypes for the Military, being tested by the Ministry as rapid response vehicles.

Hope you like 'em.....

The scale is 1/47 ?

Every time I see those Bentleys I charge off to eBay and almost buy a brace.
They are so perfect for the job.
